Chapter 24

At D.F company, Mr Blackwood sits in the waiting room where the receptionist is, for almost four hours without noticing he had stayed that long, because he was busy with his phone, chatting with his family, gossiping about Damien and planning how they will deal with him after Mr Blackwood has gotten the job.

Few minutes into the chat (exactly what Blackwood thought) he raised his head from his phone and looked at the wall clock hanging on the wall in front of him. It's almost four hours gone already.

“No this is not possible, I just stared at my phone for thirty minutes, I am sure that the wall clock is bad.” He muttered

“Hey, excuse me,” he said, referring to Beatrice, the receptionist.

“You need to fix this wall clock, it could be the battery or something is wrong with it. I don't know why a big company like this will ignore such a thing, don't you know the wall clock is one of the first things someone will notice when they come in here?
