They walked all together, heading outside. Maria was the one in front and as they got to the door, Maria stretched out her hand and twisted the door open.

And as it twisted open, two figures stood right in front of them and they were taken aback. “Police?”

They were all shocked to see two policemen standing in front of the door. What could they be looking for? They all thought.

Stephen managed to maintain his comportment as he approached the policemen. “Good day, officers.” He greeted them respectfully and extended his hand for a handshake.
