“Please, don't cry, my darling granddaughter.” She patted her back. “I'm happy you finally developed the courage to tell them the truth.”

She wiped her eyes. “Don't worry, I'll let Michael know about this soon.” Grandma Isabella assured her.

Rose couldn't stop but continued to cry not minding what her grandmother was saying. Even if she tells Michael, what would the fool do about it?

“Grandma, I have no place to go. My life is so miserable now.” Rose sobbed between Grandma Isabella's arms.

Grandma Isabella shook her head. “Stop crying, you're going nowhere. I'm the older person in this house and Stephen can't throw you out while I'm still here.” Grandma Isabella patted Rose's back.
