VELKAN CITY (2)

"There were actually two cities. One was Illniza and the other was Velkan City. Velkan City is where the ancient creatures lived. No one could actually tell that they were ancient creatures. Illniza is where the real humans stayed. " Stella said in her British accent.

"So they are two different cities?" Hailey asked as she remembered the visions she had seen. Suddenly, she became confused about why she had been seeing patches of the vision.

"Why are you suddenly asking though?" You never seem to pay attention in class. " Stella said as she tried her hair into a ponytail.

"Nothing. I just want to understand what they were saying in class the other day. " Hailey said, turning her chair around to face the table.

Hailey continued to look at her laptop as Stella stared at her. Suddenly, Stella's phone started ringing, and the two of them paused before looking at each other for a moment. It was one of their favorite songs of all time. Katy Perry's song "Call Me Maybe"

The two of them started dancing together instead of picking up the call. That same song had been what had brought them close as roommates. After a few seconds, the song ended, making Stella finally pick up her phone.

"Ahhhhhhhh!" Stella screamed, making Hailey jerk back in surprise. Nevertheless, she knew it was nothing serious.

"Why did you shout, for godsake?" Hailey asked, closing her eyes and trying not to kill her best friend and roommate.

"Lucas said he was coming to pick me up." "I know that both of you can't stand each other," Stella said.

"Hate is more like the word." We hate each other. " Hailey said, watching as Stella rolled her eyes knowingly before blowing her kiss.

"That's why I told him to wait downstairs." I'd better go and dress up immediately. Lucas hates me taking too much time. " Stella said, walking happily as she went into the bathroom.

Hailey lay back on her bed, staring at the ceiling. The visions of nightmares she had been having since she was little weren't just figments of her imagination. Apparently, it had really happened. While Hailey was lying on the bed pondering, someone started knocking. Sighing to herself, Hailey decided not to stand up.

"Stella, there is someone at the door!" Hailey shouted, despite being closer to the door.

"I can't come out. I'm doing my hair! " Hailey shouted back at her in her beautiful British accent, which made Hailey roll her eyes as she finally stood up.

"Doing your hair? How long will it take for you to finish doing your hair? " Hailey said, murmuring as she opened the door.

Unknown to her, it was Lucas. When the two of them saw each other, they both sighed as Lucas entered, and Hailey returned to her bed.

Stella, the annoying one, is here. Come out quickly so he can leave. " Hailey shouted as she stared at Lucas while Lucas raised his middle finger at her.

"Please don't kill each other." Stella shouted from the bathroom, increasing her speed.

"How have you been, sweetheart?" You look just the same, bad. " "Lucas said," trying to annoy Hailey. This time, she was the one who raised the middle finger.

"I beg you not to kill yourselves." Stella said, coming out of the bathroom looking beautiful in blue jeans and a white sleeveless crop top. Her beautiful long hair fell down in waves, making her look sexy.

Hailey was happy as she looked at her friend. Stella had a thin figure, but she had curves. something that Hailey hadn't expected. Turning to look at Lucas, Hailey saw him staring at Stella with a gaze of hunger. It would have made any man look sexy, but not Lucas.

"Hey, Stop looking at her like that. You're going to make me barf. " Hailey said, killing the mood.

Stella watched as Lucas turned to look at Hailey. He wasn't going to beat her or anything. Lucas wasn't the type to raise his hand at any woman. She was just afraid that they might start fighting again.

"What did you just f**** say?" Lucas asked, approaching Hailey.

"I said it was disgusting." Hailey said, obviously not afraid of Lucas.

"Just like you." "Lucas said," making Hailey laugh.

Was that his best comeback?

"Love you too, sweetheart." Hailey responded with the same words he had used.

Stella took hold of Lucas's hand, dragging him out of the room before they actually got to the part of killing each other. When they were outside, Stella let go of Lucas's hand before turning her face away to sulk.

"Can't you see Hailey and not try to kill each other?" Every time the both of you fight, I feel like I'm stuck in the middle. " Stella said.

"Babe, I've tried. Your roommate is just being annoying. Really? " "Lucas said Stella, angry as she stomped off angrily.

Meanwhile, Stella was laying on her bed when she heard another knock on the door. Thinking it was Stella, Hailey glanced around looking for what Stella could have forgotten. Seeing that she couldn't find anything, Hailey got up, defeated, to open the door.

"Mr. Oisin, Mr. Othniel. " Hailey said nervously as she saw her hot teacher standing there in front of her door.

"Why are you so nervous?" Mr. Oisin (Othniel) asked.

"It's just that I am surprised that you are here." Hailey said, smiling sheepishly.

"I saw your friend and her boyfriend when I was heading back home. I remembered that you don't like to eat alone. In order to stop you from going hungry, I brought you some food.

"We can eat together." Othniel (Oisin) said, raising the plastic bag he had gotten.

"What's that?" Hailey asked, looking at him confused as she couldn't see through the bag.

I can cook. Instead of buying the food. I bought ingredients for pozole and chilaquiles. Is that okay with you? " Othniel asked.

You know how to cook Mexican foods? Oh, sorry. I've kept Ulu outside for so long. " Hailey said, stepping aside so he could enter.

When he had entered, Hailey closed the door, leaving only two of them in the room. When Hailey turned around, Mr. Oisin had already racked his jacket and was dressed in an apron.

"So fast." Hailey said, smiling as she admired her teacher's ability to look sexy in anything.

"You must be hungry after all." Come. Sit down here. " Mr. Oisin said, pushing her to sit down on her bed as he headed to the kitchen to cook.

Hailey refused to stay still and followed him into the kitchen as she watched him skillfully wash his hands. He was just washing his hands, but the way he did it left her to imagine bad things. As if he knew what she was thinking, Hailey watched as his eyes darted to her before he smiled and continued doing what he was doing.

A few minutes later, the food was served and done. Everything looked so appetizing that she didn't know where to start. Pozole and chilaquiles were Mexicans' best foods. She ate them a lot when she was little.

"They smell divine." Seriously. " Hailey said as she ticked some hair behind her ears.

"Glad you like them." Hailey heard her teacher say as they took their seats.

Unlike what she had imagined, the two of them actually had a thousand and one things to talk about. He didn't seem like her teacher at this moment. Glancing at his shirt, Hailey noticed some soup on his shirt.

"Your shirt is stained." "Hailey I said making Me Oisin look down at his shirt.

"It is." "Seems like the apron didn't have a use in the end." Mr. Oisin said, making Hailey laugh.

"It did help. It could have been worse. Hailey said, laughing.

"Do you know that pozole is a dish that has a very unique place in history?" It is believed to be used for rituals. I know someone who also drank this soup. Do you know what happened? " Mr. Oisin asked.

"What happened? He died? " Hailey asked, laughing at her joke. But Mr. Oisin didn't seem to think it was a joke.

"He really died." Hailey heard Mr. Oisin say something that made her goosebumps.

"Mr. Oisin, I have something to ask you. I heard that there was indeed a city called Velkan. " "Hailey she said watching as Mr. Oisin paused holding his drink.

"What happened to Velkan city? I didn't think that there would be a student that would be interested in such a part of history. History is vast. It is broad and about different stories. Some of them seem not to be true. Some of them are true. Hailey heard Mr. Oisin say, making her wonder if she should tell him about her dreams. He was her teacher and he was also an anthropologist.

"I’m just interested." Hailey said, deciding not to scare him with her dreams. Literally, anyone would run away from her.

"The validity of where the city truly existed is still being questioned today." As a result, you must be careful with whom you talk about this. It's a very hot topic that every anthropologist cares about. " Hailey had overheard her teacher say.
