Flay was led into a massive tunnel and found that the family of Beast Master had turned the entire hills into a den, where they created pits, tunnels, and holes where monsters of all sorts lived.

The kinds and breeds of the creatures present were very diverse. The number of beasts captured was probably triple the number of beasts the tamers had. Yet, Flay's unimpressed demeanor was obvious.

Darwood noticed the eyes of Flay that had almost anger in them!

Flay and Darwood lived two different worlds.

The Tamers created a monster community; what these beastmasters made were just captives.

Even without the Taming Jewel, the Tamers could cultivate a community if they had the manpower and support of the kingdom. They knew how to ‘tame’ the monsters.

To the unlearned mind, a beast master and a beast tamer might seem similar. But in reality, they are vastly different. A beast tamer, like Flay, tames the beast to make them a part of their community, forming a bond of mutual respect and eve
