Flay and Xandra were walking right in the middle of the camp as if enjoying a little honeymoon. But in reality, they were talking in secret.
“Can you hear what everyone is saying?”
“No. I don’t have such power. I can hear better, but I have to focus actually to listen and understand. It’s like how you would hear people talk in the background, but it takes a lot of concentration to hear it when you are talking to someone. And there is also the issue of the sounds being overpowered by other sounds.”
“But you heard the thump!”
