Bad news

"What do you mean?" asked Uzi with emotion.

"Both of your parents have been tortured by Mr Nobi," Lana replied with her face lowered in fear.

"Tortured? On what basis were my parents tortured? Did my parents steal? or kill?" asked Uzi, shouting hysteria, making some female students in the locker hallway turn to the young man who chose the surgical specialist concentration.

"They were tortured not for the reasons you mentioned," Lana said.

"Then if not, why are they being tortured?" continued Uzi while holding back his emotions to shout.

Lana also explained in detail the reason why her best friend's parents were tortured by Mr Nobi, namely because of the rare diseases they suffered. Mr Nobi influenced the villagers by saying that the disease suffered by Mr Sahasaki and Mrs Uriana was cursed.

"Curse disease? Not... impossible. My parents never did anything strange, Lana. You believe me don't you," Uzi shouted hysterically.

Uzi's shout reached the ears of his two best friends, Osmon and Tyaga who had just come out of their respective classes. Fearing that something might happen to Uzi, both Tyaga and Osmon rushed their feet towards the sound of Uzi's scream.

The body of the young man with the stature of an athlete immediately sat weakly at the unpleasant news about the two parents. His mind drifted to the sight of his parents' old and weak faces, helpless, especially when he heard that his father and mother were sick.

Uzi could already see how her face reacted in fear and whimpered in pain. Uzi's regret is why her parents had to be tortured for unnatural reasons when she was not in the village.

With such passionate emotions, Uzi also looked for a communication device that he kept in his trouser pocket. Uzi's current mind is to tell her twin Qavi the news of her parents.

His brain and fingers, while holding his smart communication device, only focused on Qavi's contact number.

"What's wrong with Uzi, Lana?" asked Osmon looking at Uzi's tangled face.

"What have you done to her, Lana?" accused Tyaga.

"I didn't do anything. I only give news that I have to tell from the village about his parents," explained Lana,

"What's the news you've told, Lana?" asked Tyaga back.

Lana again explained the condition of Uzi's parents to her two friends. The weak condition and also the fear experienced by Mr Sahasaki and Mrs Uriana when Lana left them both in the forest.

Anxiety becomes even more so when Uzi cannot reach Qavi.  The body of this young man who had almost graduated as the best surgeon in college was shaking, and cold sweat just oozes.  His right hand still dialled the contact number of his twin who was still not connected.

Heart of Kindan

"Let's hurry up idler! How slow you walk, like a turtle!" said Professor Edogawa.

The strength Qavi'sof two legs is no longer able to walk to keep up with Professor Edogawa. Thick twigs as support for his legs were even considered insufficient to balance the professor's walking.

The terrain towards the heart of the Kindan forest is very steep. The two of them couldn't help but have to pass through a path with a ninety-degree slope. Root by the root they make a medium to support them when moving slowly.

Pebbles began to fall past and hit the faces of both of them. The smell of sulfur was even more pungent and made a tightness in Qavi's chest.

Unlike Professor Edogawa, in just a matter of seconds, he was at the top of the heart of the Kindan forest. Tania struggled while climbing, not even smelling sulfur. With difficulty climbing, breathing and writing as oxygen dwindled at the top of the heart of the forest, Qavi finally made it to the top of the heart.

Before long, dark clouds covered the Kindan forest heartland. The lighting began to be minimal, and the flowers and cold air began to resemble touching Qavi's goosebumps.

"Damn. It's getting dark! Because of you, we are too late to arrive in the heart of the forest! Anyway, I don't want to know, tonight, we have to arrive to get those herbs!" shouted Professor Edogawa.

"Good Professor," Qavi replied hoarsely.

The atmosphere of the forest is so beautiful, reminding him of his twin. Whether he got a hunch, that something had happened to Uzi, Qavi immediately looked for a communication device from his pocket.

While limping, Qavi positioned his bag to the front, to make it easier to retrieve and return the phone to the bag.

Fifty missed calls from his twin and fifty unread messages from Uzi were seen. Qavi's attention was divided between walking in the professor's footsteps and reading messages from his twin.

The message sent by Uzi just wanted him to contact him immediately. Armed with a mediocre signal and Qavi's high curiosity, he immediately contacted Uzi again.

Qavi waited long enough for Uzi to respond to his call, and about thirty minutes later Uzi responded to his call.

Uzi's cries broke out, as Qavi said 'Hello'.

Sensing that something was wrong with Uzi's broken cry, Qavi immediately guessed what had happened to his twin.

"What's wrong Uzi? Why are you crying like that? Did something happen to you? Did you have an accident?" asked worried Qavi.

"No Qavi. I'm fine. It wasn't me who had the accident. But our parents," Uzi replied, crying.

"What? What do you mean?" Qavi's tone rose even more when he heard that something had happened to his parents.

Uzi also explained clearly, assisted by Lana beside him to talk about what had happened in the village.

Qavi's two hands clenched into fists filled with anger. His emotions were unbearable when he heard that it was Mr Nobi who had tortured his parents.

In his mind, Qavi cursed and cursed all the deeds of Mr Nobi. For a while Qavi just kept silent.

"Qavi... what should we do?" asked Uzi worriedly

Qavi woke up from his reverie. While continuing to watch the professor's footsteps, Qavi replied, "Let's put it this way. You just go back to the village, I will catch up with him later. It won't interfere with lectures anyway, right? After all, we are already at the final level," Qavi suggested.

"But what about your research together with the professor?" asked Uzi worriedly.

"Don't think about me, I'm fine. Never mind... You hurry up to the village and take our two parents to the city. Take them to the hospital, save them. Just let me know always," Qavi said.

Not wanting to argue and add to the problem, Uzi also obeyed the wishes of her twins. After ending the conversation through the communication channel, Qavi inexplicably felt that there was something strange about this forest.

From the moment they entered the forest, there was not a trace of animals wandering. Whether it's a bird, the sound of a savage hwan, or maybe a slithering animal. Only the appearance of pale-faced people always prevented him from continuing his journey towards the heart of the forest.

"Professor, why don't we see animals around the forest?" asked Qavi starting the dialogue.

"I don't know either, maybe they are migrating to another forest," replied the professor.

Shortly after answering Qavi's question, Professor Edogawa's steps stopped. He went back to read the map in his grasp.

"What's wrong prof?" asked Qavi whose steps stopped as well.

"If I see... The location of the plant is here. But where is it?" said the man with a plant head.

"Really?" replied Qavi, looking for the existence of the plant he had previously studied in his small notes.

"Are there any special clues about that place, professor?" asked Qavi as he watched the surroundings.

"Here it simply says 'the plant is located in a vital part of the forest to the east. Hide behind a large air filter. Burst into the protected by a nest. Sitting under the night sky accompanied by the star'," replied the professor.

The mind of the young man with the highest IQ on campus, which is around 1600, immediately focused on a puzzle contained in the clue. Instead of searching for the answer to the riddle, Qavi decides to spin around the forest.

Following his makeshift intuition, Qavi was engrossed in walking through the path. Seeing the surrounding situation filled with shrubs, moss and scattered human skulls. There are also human remains that are still infested by disgusting small animals.

Qavi's feelings, which were originally brave, gradually shrank into fear because he saw too many burnt black human bodies that came from nowhere.

In Qavi's vision, the human body seemed to come back to life and was about to capture him. Constantly feeling chased, Qavi chooses to flee and screams for help. Despite trying to run, Qavi's legs were unable to keep up.

Finally, the twenty-five-year-old young man fell right on a bonsai-like plant. Not tall, with purple leaves and red and blue spots. Not only that, the stalk grows like a mushroom with a very unique colour, which is green.

Hearing the shouts from his students, emotions and anger arose in the professor. He followed to the place where Qavi shouted. "What's wrong Qavi, why are you screaming like that!?" growled the professor.
