I Changed My Mind

The executives looked at themselves before looking at Max. His wife was now the owner of the company, so there was no way they were going to be able to talk rudely to him. They would be risking their jobs if they did.

"Or do you want me to call her, so she'll ask herself?" Max's vice came bringing them out of their thoughts.

"That won't be necessary." One of the executives smiled as he replied.

They knew Max was still going to take over even if they agreed, so there was no point. At that point, they couldn't help but regret the fact that they didn't dig deep into the matter.

"Now, can I see the documents which said my wife committed all the atrocities she was accused of?" Max smiled as she calmly sat on the seat right in front of the executives.

The executives nodded and passed a stack of documents to Max.

Max smiled as he collected the documents from Smiles and flipped through the pages rather slowly taking in all the information.
