“Wow, you are alright, you are all fine,” Dan said, as he stopped at the shield, inches before he hit it, thanks to the warning, up-lifted hand of Gina.

“You are alive,” Gina muttered as she glanced over him, in keen eyes, “are you ok? You aren’t hurt, right?”

Dan smiled as he replied:

“I’m fine, nothing happened to you.”

“That’s great, I was afraid to be hurt after… after…” she suddenly statured, not knowing what to say when she recalled the embarrassing moment she had with him, the last memory between them.

“Ah, about that,” his face gave a fake, plain smile, like everything was fine with him, “there is nothing to blame yourself for, I was selfish, and I considered things that seemed not to exist between us.”
