Chapter 101 -

Matheus had found pleasure in stepping out at leisure to clubs and downtown to ease his mind and he prepared for the trip again.

To avoid being noticed, he would enter into a new club each night and never and in there, he sat.

After he made an order, a man walked close and sat at his table, the hat on his head offered coverage to his face and when he removed the hat, Matheus could see who he was.

The memories of their past encounters, locations where they had met and the things that they had said to each other rushed through his mind, leaving him with a mix of emotions - apprehension, curiosity, and a hint of relief. It was Wilson, the hunter who had been relentlessly pursuing him and had succeeded in killing him in the past. Matheus knew he had to tread carefully.

"So, Matheus, I killed you," Wilson stated matter-of-factly, a hint of a smirk playing at the corner of his lips. "I still have the stake that I used the other time. I can do it again."
