Chapter 61 - Alistair
Alistair's heart pounded in his chest as he sprinted through the thick forest. He suddenly stopped at the sound of his pursuers' howls growing closer with each passing moment.

He was heading towards the rendezvous, but it posed a danger to them all. His senses heightened, he could feel their presence gaining on him. Desperation fueled his every step, but as the trees thinned out, he knew he couldn't outrun them forever.

Finally reaching a small clearing on the plain, Alistair halted, his breath ragged, and turned to face his adversaries. The werewolves emerged from the shadows, their human forms now visible.

They stopped too, eyes locked and all heaving heavily.

Their eyes glowed with a sinister light as they closed in on Alistair, confidence radiating from their smirking faces.
