Chapter 6 - Home

Author's point of view:

Before you continue reading the novel, please read the note.

When I was thinking about how to introduce MC to Earth without making too much noise or alarming the authorities, I realised that bringing a refugee might be the greatest option. People will overlook their unusual language or fail to comprehend earthlings' common sense or lack of understanding in a variety of areas if they do so. So, after some study, I discovered the most recent refugee scenario, including how they escaped and which countries accepted them, and so on. Which will be included in the narrative.

I spoke with a few people in the area, and they all have different political and other reasons for siding with one side or the other. For the greater good. So in this novel, I won't be siding with anyone. So, if you are in a similar circumstance or are a refugee, please share your experience with me so that I can have a better understanding.

Please keep in mind that this is a novel, not a true story.

The boat completed its mission successfully. All passengers arrived safely at the shore. Unlike their expectations, they were greeted by a team of soldiers, media representatives, local government representatives, and a few human rights activists. They had food, a blanket, and flowers with them. A large welcome board can be seen.

"Welcome to Turkey."

#standwithrefugees

People can be seen holding these posters.

"Welcome to Turkey, with you included, it will be 3 million refugees we are hosting," a government representative said.

Volunteers can be seen arriving with various types of clothing to distribute to refugees. Some soldiers can be seen arranging refugees and taking and verifying their documents.

Altan Durmaz is the name of a high-ranking military officer who is sitting in a nearby car.

"Check to see if that boy arrived on this boat. If he is, there is no need for others to transport him to the refugee camp; simply allow him to come here. Also, do not force a search if he is carrying any bags. Just use the X-ray devices to search for it without him noticing." Altan motioned for the soldier to leave.

Ali, Rowan, and his sister waited for the soldiers to examine them. However, a soldier appears and informs them that they do not need to be inspected, pointing to a location and instructing them to proceed there.

Ali thought it was strange, but he took Rowan and his sister with him and went there. Alan was taken aback when they entered the vehicle. He hadn't expected to see anyone with Ali. This contradicts the information he has.

Rowan examined every inch of the vehicle; it was a large Hummer, which can be considered a good vehicle, especially when owned by a military officer; it demonstrates Altan's power and authority in the military.

"What's the matter, little boy? Do you like this car? Is this your first time seeing something this large? ".. Altan burst out laughing.

"No, it's the opposite, there is no automated firing system. I can't even see the fundamental laser defence system. There is no hologram AI assistant, nor is there an autopilot system. Such a dreadful vehicle. I'm curious who owns the vehicle, who can't even install an AI assistant...."

Jasmin abruptly cut off his brother's speech.

But it's too late now. Altan was very proud of this vehicle. It was his reward for military success. Respect can be seen on the faces of all officers who see this vehicle. This is the first time Altan has heard anything like this. Fortunately, he requested the guards to stand outside, and the automobile is well-insulated.

"Please forgive him. He is only a child who has lost his entire family at such a young age. But he has some communication issues, and I believe he is fusing comics and reality."

Ali understands that they cannot afford to offend the officer, so he quickly moved Rowan and apologised.

Altan did not become enraged, but he abruptly stated, "You don't have to worry about it." I have a grandson around his age. I'm aware of how mischievous children can be. It's still a good thing he didn't lose those things in battle.

Anyway, I asked you to come because I was near your village when the attack occurred, and we rushed there when we heard the gunfire, but it was too late. I was always guilty about it. But because I couldn't take you directly out of there, I arranged for you to be shipped here. You are not required to go through those formalities or stay in refugee camps. I found you a place to live and completed the necessary paperwork to transport you to school. You will be given a scholarship and will spend the first year learning our language. Our schools, after all, teach in Turkish, not Arabic. Also, you didn't tell me who your friends are?"

"I won't lie because you know who I am: they were boarded in a ship before us, and that ship was destroyed. Only they escaped. We were fortunate enough to save them. When I discovered Rowan was in the same situation as me. So I decided to bring him along. If you are going to arrange a school for me, you should also arrange for them, or I will not attend ".

Altan fell silent for a long time before picking up his phone and making some calls. "I," he said after some thought "It is possible, but you must stay out of trouble. We can't treat you the same as others if you did something illegal. Everything will be fine as long as you follow the law. Wait there until someone arrives to transport you and your friends to your new home ".

"Why did he have only audio when he called? He doesn't even have a hologram device to make a phone call?

He acts like a powerful man, but he lacks something that even the poorest people in galaxy zero have. What a strange place is this earth ?." Rowan murmured, and his sister forced a smile while placing her hands on his mouth.

Ali gave Rowan an odd look. They waited outside the vehicle while Altar went somewhere and some soldiers fed them and told them the vehicle would arrive soon.

"Where are we going, sister? And why weren't there any small space shuttles or drones? Don't tell me we're still using those dreadful vehicles known as cars."

"We used a small boat in the sea to escape," Jasmin patted Rowan's shoulder, "what about a car, it's better than the sea."

Rowan turned to Ali and asked, "Ali, what did you do alone with the Altan, and do you know where we're going?"

Ali said with a smile, "Oh, I just went to express my gratitude to him for everything. The vehicle will arrive soon, and they will drop us off at our new home. Yes, Home ".
