Luke takes the bag and tucks it away inside one of the drawers in the room. He then removes his bandages and makes his way out of the room in search of something to contain the liquid as his aunt had done.
Once outside, Luke is quickly spotted by a nearby nurse who rushes to intercept him.
"Wait, you shouldn't be up just yet, You're still heavily injured."
The young nurse looks at him with great concern. He had just fallen from a roof and his body was a mess. She had no idea how he had the strength to stand despite how painful it would be to simply move.
"Oh please, I'm just fine. Besides, I'm just trying to get something to drink. I'll be back once I'm done. Can you give me directions?" Luke asks politely.
The nurse hesitates for a moment, unsure whether or not she should allow him to leave. But seeing that he looked perfectly healthy, she decided that it was probably okay.
"Follow the hall straight to your left and take the stairs two floors down. Make sure to use the handrail and watch your footing. Once you reach the bottom floor, continue walking towards the center of the room. That will lead you to the cafeteria."
"Thank you very much." Luke says gratefully.
The nurse smiles and gives a slight wave goodbye.
Luke follows her instructions carefully, making sure that he doesn't trip on the way down. As he approaches the last flight of stairs, he notices that the hallway leading to the staircase is empty except for him. This gave him plenty of opportunity to sneak past without anyone noticing.
Instead of going to the cafeteria, Luke goes out to find a syringe to hold the fluid from his room.
"Now where would they keep those in this hospital?" Luke wondered aloud as he wandered around aimlessly. Eventually, after searching all of the rooms that contained medical supplies, Luke finds what he's looking for.
In one corner of the supply closet, a large plastic container with several drawers labeled 'Needles & Syringes'. Inside the container is a variety of needles and syringes ranging in size from 1ml to 10 ml. There were also a couple of smaller containers which held various types of medication and ointments.
Luke grabs the largest needle, tucking it away in his clothes and heads back to the room. Upon entering the room, Luke takes care to make sure nobody else is present as he brings out the IV bag and pulls the liquid inside of the newly collected syringe.
"I wonder what this stuff even is? But I guess I'll find out soon enough. For now though, it's best to put this somewhere safe."
Luke disposes of the IV in the trash can and places the filled syringe underneath his pillow, before lying back down in his bed. It would be in his best interest if No one knew that he was healed just yet.
Several days passed since Luke received his mission and he had been patiently waiting for a chance to complete it. He was in no rush and he was used to being alone. Although, he was a bit surprised that none of his sisters, brothers or even parents came to visit him.
"It would at least do them good to keep up appearances, but I guess I'm just not worth the trouble." He thinks to himself while staring out the window.
But soon, he hears a knock coming from the outside of the room.
"It must be the nurses again. Come on in!"
Luke sighs as he grants his visitor permission to enter.
As the door opens, Luke sees a middle aged man standing there. The man's face looks disgruntled as he stares at Luke.
"Am I not even worth a simple greeting now father." Luke says sarcastically.
"How dare you talk to your Father like that," the man snaps back. You stupid boy! Do you know how much trouble you got us into because of this stunt?!"
"Oh yeah. How bad was it for you? Did it ruin your oh so perfect image?"
"You insolent brat! I only came to check on you to tell you that your aunt had passed out. If you have any decency left in your body, you will go and check on her. It's the least you can do." the man shouts.
"Really! What happened?" Luke asks in an attempt to hide his joy.
Ignoring his rude son's behavior Luke's father tells him what happened.
"She collapsed while she was cleaning her house. Apparently, her heart stopped beating for a moment and her breathing became shallow. She's currently resting in one of the rooms below yours. How about you at least attempt to be a good son for once and visit her. I'm sure she'd appreciate it."
"Yeah right. I'll think about it later. Now if you wouldn't mind. This injured patient also needs time to rest." Luke replied coldly.
"Fine. Have it your way." the man retorts as he leaves the room.
Luke lays back down on his bed, letting out a huge sigh of relief. At last, he gets a chance to fulfill his promise. and in a turn of fate, He can even give it to her just as she had done him.
Watching closely outside of his window, He waits to see his father leave the hospital so that he can make his move undetected. He needed to make sure that whatever he did, went unnoticed. especially from his family.
Luke had waited for almost half an hour before his father had finally driven out from the lot. Quickly taking the syringe from underneath his pillow, He takes one last glance outside before making for the door.
He slowly exits his room and closes the door behind him, careful not to make any noise that might attract attention. Making sure not to meet anyone's gaze, Luke heads down one floor and makes his way to his Aunt's room. It was time for some payback.
Luke enters his aunt's hospital room and shuts the door behind him. The sight that greeted him upon opening the door was quite surprising. His aunt lay motionless underneath her covers. Her skin appears pale and lifeless. A thin layer of sweat covered her forehead. He could see beads of perspiration forming on her brow and running down her cheeks. "Auntie?" Luke calls out to her. His aunt didn't respond. "Don't tell me that you've already kicked the bucket." Still nothing. Luke walks over to her bedside and gently touches her arm. She doesn't stir. He takes his finger and places them on her neck. She was still breathing but he doubted that she would live for much longer. "What do I do?" He whispers to himself. If she died here and now, he couldn't let anyone know. Not unless he wanted to be locked up in this place forever. And besides, he hadn't gotten what he came for yet. Making a quick decision in his mind, Luke takes the syringe that he had stored in his clothes and injec
It takes him less than 15 minutes to arrive at the station and purchase a ticket. stepping into the crowded subway train, Luke rides for around 30 minutes before exiting at his destination. As he steps out of the train, he feels the familiar rush of air hit his face as he stands beneath the bright lights above.Walking quickly across the platform, he makes it to work. He takes a deep breath before entering the office building and heading straight for the elevators located on the opposite end of the lobby. Before getting inside the elevator, A man stops him. "Excuse me, are you Luke Castellan?""Yes, may I ask who you are?" Luke inquires."My name is Mr. Goudeau. I am a representative of your Aunts law firm. Are you aware of the terms of your inheritance?" Mr. Goudeau asks politely.Luke shakes his head. "No, what happened?" Luke tries his best to pretend not to know what had happened. It sounded a bit forced but it was acceptable."That's fine. But I will ask that you follow me for a
Luke knew very well what his sister was like behind closed doors. She was promiscuous, selfish, and completely spoiled. Everything was hers and nobody dared touch it. All because his parents treated her like royalty growing up. She had even managed to marry into one of the wealthiest families in the state, yet still continued her relationships with other men in secret. Despite having a kid together, she refused to acknowledge her roles as a mother and prioritized living a lavish life instead. Her husband, on the other hand, worked hard to provide for his wife and child, unaware of what she had been doing behind his back. While he hated his sister for many reasons, he admired her husband for putting his family first. For him, raising his daughter was his number one priority and he made sure to spend quality time with her whenever possible. If ruining his sister's life meant saving that girl from suffering as he did, then he'd gladly put her through whatever pain he needed to inflic
One of the men was holding onto the arm of one of the girls as the other was held captive by three more thugs. They wore dark colored jackets and jeans which matched their dirty faces perfectly. Seeing the situation unfold, Luke Knew that he needed to do something. Even though he had no relation to the two women, he felt compelled to step in and help them out. Without hesitating, Luke rushes forward and grabs one of the guys' arms causing him to stumble backwards. Before he could recover, Luke punches him in the jaw, sending him falling to the ground, clutching his mouth. The thug tries to retaliate but Luke kicks him square in the stomach, knocking the wind out of him and forcing him to double over. "What the hell is your problem man! Do you know who we are!" One of the three remaining men says angrily as he glares at Luke. "No, and I don't care either. Let those girls go or it will be you lying on the ground next." Luke responds calmly as he keeps his fists clenched tightly. "
Setting his bags in front of the couch, Luke gets ready to leave the two girls to their business. However, before he can escape, Aria quickly jumps up and wraps her arms around Luke's waist. "How can you leave after seeing two cute girls like us devouring each other?" She purrs suggestively as she rubs her hand on his pelvis. Luke freezes for a brief moment as his cock throbs painfully. "Let me guess, you're feeling rather horny too? Don't worry; I won't tell anyone." Aria teases, biting on his ear. Luke swallows thickly as he realizes how deadly this girl could be. "Come here and show Ella just how beautiful she is. It's your fault she's like this anyways. Maybe you should give her an apology." Aria suggests with an evil grin as she continues to stroke Luke's dick through his pants. Luke hesitates for a moment but soon gives in to temptation and walks over to Ella. She still sat on the couch dripping sweat and panting heavily. “What do you mean by ‘it's his fault?' And who's re
The next morning, Luke woke up feeling refreshed and full of energy, Albeit with a burning pain on his back. He stretched lazily and rolled over to find that he had been moved to the middle of the bed during the night. Aria was laying beside him with an arm wrapped around him tightly.Luke blushed lightly as he remembered what happened last night.Suddenly, Luke noticed something strange on his stomach. Looking closer, he saw that someone had drawn a heart shape onto his skin with black marker. A small 'X' had been placed above the center of the design.Shaking his head in disbelief, Luke realized that it must have been Aria. He couldn't see Ella doing something like this.Carefully removing Aria's arms from around him, Luke turns to the other side to get out of the bed, only to find Ella sleeping peacefully beside him.Sighing softly, Luke wriggles his way down the middle of the large bed, careful not to wake either of them. After a few moments of maneuvering, he manages to reach the
Driving out from the estate, Luke heads out to his first stop of the day. He had planned on keeping tabs on his sister so he needed someone who could discreetly watch over her without being detected. This gave him the idea of hiring some form of private eye. Luckily for him the media had no interest in his personal life which allowed him to go to such places without worry of his actions being leaked. Entering the office, Luke scans the intricately designed interior of the building. The walls were lined with pictures of famous people including politicians, actors, athletes and musicians. There was also a large wall dedicated solely to celebrities that died recently. The receptionist that greeted Luke stood tall and proud with long dark brown hair that cascaded down to the small of her back. She wore a pair of black glasses that sat delicately upon her nose. She appeared to be in her late thirties and was quite attractive. "Hello sir. How may we help you today?" She asked politely af
The day was already halfway over when Luke arrived at his final location of the day. The office that he had worked for since graduating high school. Walking through the doors, he is immediately spotted by his old boss, Mr. Johnson. Seeing the man that had always looked down on him despite knowing who he was made Luke feel uneasy. "Oh! Good afternoon Luke!" Mr. Johnson exclaims cheerfully as he hurries over to meet with him. "What brings you here?" This cheerful tone sickened Luke. News of his inheritance must have made the rounds in the company or the sudden shift in attitude from Mr. Johnson was too suspicious to ignore. Either way, Luke knew that this would just make his visit that much simpler. "I'm too busy to talk with you, Mr. Johnson," Luke cuts him off rudely. "As a matter of fact, I have an important meeting to attend to. "Huh? Well alright then." Mr. Johnson says in confusion as he tries to hide his surprise. "Is there anything that I can do for you?" Luke shakes his he
The passenger side door swings open to reveal A thin passenger with long hair tied up into a ponytail. He was dressed casually in a white collared shirt and black slacks. "Welcome back brother. You made quite the entrance I must say." Jonathan said with a smile from within the vehicle. "So how was your vacation?" Luke looked at his brother with disdain, "What are you doing here!? Why did you have to show up now!?" He growls angrily. "That's a silly question. I'm just here to pick up my brother and his companion." His older brother explained, "why don't you have a seat so that we can catch up. It's about time that we have a talk." Jonathan suggests with a grin while gesturing with his hand out towards the passenger seat. "Don't get your hopes up. I wouldn't ride in the same space as you if you paid me to." Luke retorted coldly. "How about you run on home and wait for me to tear you down, just like I did with Marilyn." Luke tells him with a scowl. "I'm sorry to hear that, but I don
Luke watched on in shame at the mess taking place in front of him. The room was already cluttered as is with the bodies of the guests scattered about, but now Ella and Le were making an even bigger mess of things. And all over a single bottle of liquor. "Haha, your going to have to try harder if you want to catch me." Ella remarked as she kept away from Lee while holding on to the bottle loosely in her hands. "You think you're funny!?" Lee huffed in frustration as he attempted to tackle her but she effortlessly dodged him and quickly disappeared behind the bar. "Ha Ha Ha! Very cute Lee." She taunted him as she tipped the bottle upside down, allowing the liquid to flow down into two glasses. She handed one of them to him with an amused look before downing her own glass in an instant. "Hey! You can't just drink it like that! It's not a shot!" He said while pointing his finger accusingly at her. "Oh yeah? Well I don't have any patience today so I'm going to just drink it however I d
A week and a half passes and Luke, Ella and Lee are now able to see land. It wouldn't be long now until they were back on solid ground. "Ahhh, Doesn't it just look so nice?" Ella exclaimed joyfully while looking out the transparent plane covering their room. Her eyes were fixated on the land as if it was the most beautiful thing she had ever seen. Luke couldn't help but laugh at her enthusiasm, but he also found it somewhat amusing seeing her this way given how much she had been through recently. "When I get back I'm going to take a nice long bath with extra bubbles and candles. Maybe even light some incense while I soak under the starry sky. Then I'll get out and dry off slowly while laying out by a pool somewhere in the desert with an ice cold beer in my hand." Ella continued on with her fantasy. "What about you half-pint? Are you going to go back to your family to tell them what happened? I'm sure that they would want to know how their youngest son almost died on his business tri
"So how long do you think it will take before we set foot on solid ground again? I'm starting to get a little nauseous." Ella said while looking down at her stomach. "Not too long I hope." Luke replied while staring ahead at the transparent plane covering the room. It's been a little over a week since we set off, so I would guess that it would take around the same time going back" He told her while scanning through different screens on the walls. "At this rate, my boredom is going to kill me before Jonathan can get the chance. I can only sit here so long without going insane." Luke complained with a groan, as he sat down in one of the seats. "I need something to read, or do... anything would be nice" Luke added as he began scanning around the room for any kind of entertainment that might be lying around. Searching the cluttered floor, Luke spotted a few different magazines that were spread open on the ground. grabbing a few of them, Luke tossed one of them over to Ella as he began
Ella follows Luke as he opens the door leading further ahead inside the ship. Covering their eyes to shield themselves from the sudden increase in brightness, The duo enter into the vessels bridge. The sun is raised high in the sky outside, and the warm air from the heat vents makes itself known throughout the ship, creating a strong contrast against the dimly lit interior of the ship. "This thing looks like it's straight out of the 2000's." Ella mumbled aloud as she followed behind Luke, staring down at the small computer consoles on the wall before them and their array of buttons and dials. Luke turned around and nodded while he scanned through the screens and monitors displayed in front of him on the wall. "I hope this isn't as complicated as it looks." He said as he reached out his hand and pressed a few buttons on the panel in front of him, causing the ship's lights to brighten up. "I guess I know what this does now. Hmmm, Let me check on some things real quick." Luke tells her
Turning his back to his sister's unmoving form, Luke walked over to where Ella stood and wrapped his arms around her. Holding her close to him as he tried desperately to hold on to what little sanity he had left. He had acted confident in the moment, but had yet to fully realize what he had just done. Once again, he had managed to find his way back to the path that his brother had set for him. He was finally beginning to take control of his life and destiny and yet, once again he found himself on the verge of losing it all. "What is wrong with me?" Luke whispers into Ella's ear while tightening their embrace. His hands shaking as he attempted to calm himself down, but the thought of what he just did continued to plague his mind and make him panic. "I killed Marilyn. I didn't just kill her, I actually strangled her with these hands. I watched her life leave her body. What the hell have I become?" Luke asks as he tries to calm down and regain his composure. Ella could feel his hands
"Is this what you call fun!" Ella said through gritted teeth as she glared at Marilyn. "Is this truly just one big game to you!" Ella shouted with rage. "You're just picking and choosing who lives and dies because you think you can! Just like those poor kids!" Ella screamed at the woman before her as she bawled her fists and raised them high. Marilyn let out a small laugh at her statement before turning her gaze down to Ella and giving her a smile that was meant to look kind and welcoming but instead gave the girl chills. "Oh, sweetheart! Don't you know that there are more important things than living or dying. Everyone here is doing their part to ensure a brighter future for everyone. Even you." She said as she stood up from her seat. "But you see, I don't have any plans for you today dear. Your time hasn't come just yet. The only one I need is my dear brother. After all, this was set up just for him." She said as she attempted to walk past Ella. But Ella's anger flared up once ag
As the screen fades to black, Luke can hear the sound of heavy machinery above him. Swimming up with his key in hand, Luke pops his head out of the water to find a thin catwalk extending from the wall opposite of the door. It continues to extend until it reaches the door, creating a path for him and Ella to stand on. Although out of reach currently, The water continued to rise which would soon allow them to reach the door if they wanted to escape. With a glance at Ella, Luke can only shake his head as he watches her playing in the water like a child. She's definitely enjoying herself way more than she should have been. Watching Luke play must have truly bored her. Once the water level was high enough, Luke grabbed hold of the catwalk's railing and pulled himself up. After taking a quick look back towards the water, Luke reached his hand out to pull Ella up from below. "Why, thank you kind sir." Ella replied sarcastically as she placed her hand in Luke's grip. The two were now sta
Pushing to finish this game in the next round, Luke raises his head and takes a deep breath, as the water was now high enough to cover his face. Turning to his side to check on Ella, Luke could see her floating away on her back while giving him a thumbs up. He could tell that she was having fun despite the obvious danger approaching. But at least this meant that she trusted him to pull through. Finishing his breath, Luke dives under to see what was happening on his screen. His starting hand turned out to be a 15 made up of a 7 and an 8. Unfortunately, though. It seemed as though player 1's turn was taking much longer than usual. The same thing happened last round, so it wasn't unusual. Luke was just in a bit of a hurry considering his circumstances. Finally taking his turn, Player 1 instantly used the cover option and ended his turn with a Hit. Putting his cards count at three and locking down anyone's ability to manipulate his cards was most likely the best alternative. With playe
