"First time! But what about your license?" Luke asked incredulously. "I never bothered getting one, It would have just taken up space. Plus, I'm just driving a car. I've seen you do it all the time so it can't be too hard." Ella responded cheerfully before looking forward with a playful smile. Luke couldn't help but fear for his life as he watched her grip the steering wheel in an uncoordinated manner. "Wait, If this is the first time you've driven this car, how did you get it into the parking garage?" Luke asked with concern while watching her weave between cars at dangerously fast speeds. "I didn't actually," Ella admitted with a grin. "I had Caroline help me out. She's a pro at these things." Ella explained with a wink as she took the next corner, causing the car to slide and spin out before finally regaining control. "But hey, I still think I'm doing pretty well. So don't worry about me. I got this." Ella reassured him in an effort to ease his worries, but all she managed to d
"Now that's what I call a meal." Luke thought to himself while looking at his emptied plate. Luke had already finished his meal while Ella was only halfway done due to being distracted by watching him. But now that she was finally able to concentrate fully on finishing her breakfast, she had no problem devouring every last crumb left behind on the plate. With plates cleared and empty, the two of them watched on as their table was emptied. "Now that we're no longer starving, It's time that we head to our next destination." Ella announced while standing up from her seat and walking around to Luke's side. She offered her hand out to him and he gladly accepted it, allowing her to pull him up to his feet as he pushed in his chair. "Where are we headed next?" Luke asked curiously as she guided him towards the exit of the restaurant. "I'll let you guess." Ella said coyly and wiggled her eyebrows up and down. "Hmmm, is it a movie theater? Or maybe some kind of club?" Luke pondered aloud
Returning from their room's shower, Luke grabs hold of two fresh bottles of water, handing one to Ella before sitting at the foot of their bed. Sweat dripped down his brow and chest as he gulped down the cold liquid before wiping his mouth on his sleeve. "How many laps have we completed?" He asked in an exhausted manner. He looked at Ella who was lying on her stomach beside him while rubbing his forehead tiredly from his rigorous workout earlier today. His body was sore and his muscles ached heavily. He felt a sense of accomplishment for some unknown reason, even if he was dead tired from it all. "About six, or was it seven? I kind of lost count after the first one." Ella teased with a playful expression as she rolled onto her back and allowed the water to flow into her mouth before swallowing it down her throat. "You sure know how to work a girl out." Ella added with a smirk. She looked at her lover who was still dripping wet with sweat pouring down his face, chest, and back. "I a
Reaching behind his back, Luke brings out another goofy shirt with a picture of some old man with sunglasses and a large blunt on it and hands it over to Ella. "Are you serious!?" Ella questions in astonishment. "I'm not wearing that. No way! You're crazy!" "Don't be like that darling. Don't you want to match with me?" Luke says sarcastically while swaying the shirt in her face. "I will literally die before I ever wear something like this to a function." Ella replied bluntly while folding her arms and rolling her eyes. "So cruel." Luke comments with a pout. "Don't give me that look. There was no way in hell that I was going to put that on. I'm sorry." Ella said while holding up her index finger for emphasis. "If you insist on wearing yours though, then go ahead. I'll at least wear something a bit more casual if you want us to match. "That's fair enough." Luke conceded as he watched her step into the closet. She shuffled around inside while analyzing the large array of clothing
As the captain took his leave, All that Luke could think about was the appearance of his sister. He had never found out where she had gone but not only did she seem completely fine after being kicked out of the Cordovan household, she even had enough money to invest into this impossibly large vessel. When did this happen? As far as he knew, she didn't have anyone supporting her aside from her now ex husband. Maybe there was someone in the background helping her out financially? Luke wasn't quite sure about any of that but it did make him wonder about the situation at hand. Was the fact that his sister suddenly revealed herself simply a coincidence or was she planning something? It wasn't exactly a big stretch for him to think about. Luke was so deep in his own thoughts that he failed to notice the growing crowd of people gathering around him. The mass of people all waiting for a chance to speak with his clueless self. *Ahem* "Excuse me Mr. Castellan." A man's voice interrupted Luk
While Luke conversed with his clients Ella remained back, standing opposite to Lee. She kept watching him out of the corner of her eye while listening intently to anything that he might say or mumble. Her face showed a permanent scowl at the prospect of the kid getting close to her man. She hated the thought of having someone intruding on their special vacation together. Especially someone she had only just met today. If not for Luke's intervention she would have already crushed the poor boy's spirit for good after his first introduction. Sweat began to form around Lee's brow as if sensing her disapproval. He dared not gaze in her direction in fear of being torn asunder by her sharp tongue. Instead he focused his attention towards Luke and began to fidget with his sleeves in an attempt to hide away his uneasiness. Ella watched him closely as he continued to move his hands through his sleeves repeatedly and she could feel her anger slowly fading away. *Huff* "What am I doing? This
Luke, Lee, and Ella Travel around the ship, touring various parts of the interior and exterior while stopping occasionally to ask questions of various crew members about some of the features. Luke was impressed by how much work was put into designing the ship's various amenities. While many aspects of the ship could have been done cheaply by using cheaper materials, they went out of their way to ensure the highest quality possible by choosing only the best available. Even the walls had been painted with a special paint designed specifically to block harmful fumes so that one would never need to worry about getting sick from living aboard the ship. In fact, The walls of the ship seemed to be reinforced or strengthened. It was certainly built with the safety of its passengers first and foremost in mind, and they seemed to have gone through great lengths to make sure that the inside of the ship could withstand any sort of situation should it ever arise. They also added numerous features
The next few days were filled with excitement for the three travelers as they explored the ship's many features. There was never a dull moment atop the magnificent vessel. But despite the time he spent enjoying his vacation, Luke's mind continued to wander. His thoughts were constantly invaded by the thoughts of his sister. Ever since the speech, he hadn't seen or heard a word from her. She had to have been somewhere on the ship, but somehow she had evaded all of his attempts to reach her. He couldn't shake the feeling that something was going on, or else there was no way she would have put any effort into something like this. She had no interest in anything sea related, and yet she had gone through so much trouble to help create this place. Something must have happened. But where was she? Where could she possibly be hiding that he hadn't been able to find on his own? After searching nearly every part of the ship, not only did he not find a trace of her, even the crew members were
