Chapter 27

Sophia was in her room sleeping when she heard a knock on her door. She steered a bit but didn't answer the door. She was too tired from the party that happened the previous day and she doesn't want to be disturbed. But the knock persisted.

She groaned glaring at the door as if the person that was knocking would magically disappear. When the knock came again, she removed the duvet on her body and stood up angrily. She was determined to give the person on the other side of the door a piece of her mind.

When she yanked the door open what she saw calmed her down a little bit. She saw one of their servants carrying a bouquet of her favorite flower. She loves rose flowers immensely. The only person who ever offered her rose flowers was her late mother and that was almost a decade ago.

Suddenly, Sophia was no longer angry and ready to murder someone.
