It's been up to 1 week since Alex and Sophia made up. Sophia has been sleeping in the hospital ever since then. She went home the next day to bring some of her stuff. She made sure that she took the key out of the keyhole to avoid being locked up again.

Today, Alex is being discharged. He already got a notification from the board committee members asking him to notify them when he's out of the hospital so that they can schedule a meeting. He knows it has someone to do with the apology letter Cynthia sent to them.

Alex was happy that everything was falling into place in his life. His friendship with Sophia is more solid now, they no longer keep stuff away from each other. He's yet to pay the Kingston family a visit at the police station, but since he was hale and hearty now, he was going to do that soon. Cynthia has confessed to her crimes of lying against him.
