Chapter 92

Sophia was so nervous. She kept running her palms down her hands and her hair. She was back home from the office. She got back home early enough to be able to meet up with Alex when he got back. She knows that if she doesn't meet up with him immediately when he steps foot into the house, she won't be able to see him again since he now spends most of his time in his room locked up.

Sophia sat in the sitting room waiting patiently for the time she would hear the sound of his car outside. She had already changed from her work clothes. She was putting on a two-piece dress that stopped right above her knee.

Sophia looked at the time again like she had been doing for the past 30 minutes. She discovered that Alex was taking too long to get home. He normally comes back home at around 6 O'clock but it's already half past 7 and he was nowhere to be seen.

She was almost losing hope of him coming back anytime soon. So, when she stood up to go back to her room, she heard the sound of a car engine
