Chapter 7: Finally Reaching The Surface

A month later, the sun shone bright in the sky. There were no clouds as far as the eyes could see and the weather was perfect for a trip.

"Stop slacking and get moving!" A man ordered as he pushed a boy to walk faster.

The boy has long blue shaggy hair and red eyes. On his head were two wolf ears and near his waist was the tail of a wolf. These characters suggest that the boy wasn't human. The three males and females who walked with him were Humans and they had the poor little boy carry all their load on his back. The collar around his neck suggest that he was a slave.

"It's a good thing we bought a werewolf slave or else it would be a pain if we have to carry all this luggage with us. Who knows what we'll be finding inside that cave. I hope it's worth this journey though," The female adventure hoped.

"Yeah," Another male adventurer agreed, "this cave we are exploring hasn't been explored yet, so we'll get dibs on what's inside....There it is up ahead."

The five of them walked towards the cave located in a gorge. It was dark so they couldn't see inside and they couldn't hear the sound of anything. The little werewolf boy became alert as he sensed danger and a cold air coming from the depths of the cave.

"I don't think we should go there master," He warned them.

"Tch," The master displayed annoyance, "Don't tell me what to do, we are going in...Rita."

"Leave it to me," Rita complied. She took out a crystal the size of a phone and poured some energy into it. The crystal glowed brightly and allowed them to see clearly as they walked down the entrance of the cave. "This place looks thousand of years old or more."

One of the adventurers turned to Rita,"Yeah, a place like this is bound to have treasure or may some terrifying monsters that will eat your brains out hahahaha!" He teased.

"Enough with the joking around. Let's grab what we can before the other adventures come," The leader ordered.

The adventurers walked down the path when the werewolf boy picked up on something with his hearing, footsteps coming toward them.

"Something is coming," He informed them.

The four adventurers readied their weapons, one took out a short sword, the female took out spiked knuckles, another took two daggered and the leader readied his fist. They prepared to strike as the footsteps got closer and closer. The person came into the light and it was Lucifer walking casually with his eyes closed.

"A child?" Rita asked in bewilderment, "What is he doing here? "

The adventure was befuddled as to why he was there. They moved out of his way and allowed him to pass until their leader noticed something sparkling in Lucifer's bag. It was one of the many crystals that Lucifer managed to gain inside of the cave.

"Hold it," The leader ordered, standing in Lucifer's way. "Those crystals. Where did you get them?"

Lucifer didn't reply, he didn't even lift his head to the man with his eyes closed and the leader felt irritated.

"I'm asking you a question, are you dumb?" The leader asked in anger.

"The leader is asking you a question, so answer him boy," Rita advised.

The four humans looked down on Lucifer because of age and height except for the werewolf boy who couldn't stop trembling with terror as he looked at Lucifer.

'What's this—dreadful aura? ' He asked himself as he trembled while looking at the black energy radiating from Lucifer's body and he was the only one who could see it.

"This is our cave and so anything that's in it belongs to us, meaning those crystals you've stolen belong to us. Now hand them over and we won't hurt you," The leader demanded.

Lucifer didn't reply to him immediately. It took about ten seconds before he responded in a low tone of voice. "Are you going to stand in my way?"

The four were confused when Lucifer asked this and one of the boys boldly placed their hand on Lucifer's shoulder from behind.

"Listen kid, We are being nice to you, so you—"

The boy stopped talking when Lucifer put the gun over his shoulder and pointed it at the boy behind him.

"Don't touch me human," Lucifer ordered.

With one pull of the trigger Lucifer shot the boy's entire head off. Blood gushed from his neck as his lifeless body fell on the ground. Nobody didn't see what just happened as it happened in the blink of an eye. Lucifer pointed his gun at the other boy and shot his head off then pointed it at the female.

Rita shuddered as she fell down on her bottom, "Please don't kill—" Before she could finish speaking her head was shot off as well and Lucifer remained expressionless the entire time.

"I don't show mercy to those who stand in my way," He stated murderously.

"Hiiiii!" The leader shuddered, he fell flat on his bottom in despair. He panicked even more when he was looking down at the gun pointed at his head. "Please, don't kill me," He begged. "I'll give you anything you want, Money, Power, Weapons— Name it and I'll see you get it. I'll even give this contract for the werewolf over there."

The man held up the contract before Lucifer who didn't care about that. He shot the man in the head through the contract. Suddenly the collar around the boy's neck snapped open.

"I'm free, Eek!" The boy shuddered when he was also at gunpoint. "I'm not going to stand in your way, the only reason I obeyed them is because of the slave contract, I promise! Please don't kill me."

Lucifer looked at the boy for a moment before he pulled back his gun and walked away.

'That was my first time killing humans, I don't feel different nor did I regret doing it. Maybe I've stopped being human in both body and mind,' He thought to himself.

Lucifer left the cave and looked up to the bright sun in the sky. It's been two months since he last saw the sun, the cool air and the earthy smell felt new to him. Lucifer took the glider board from off his backpack, stood on it and took off into the sky.

"Hey! Wait!" The Werewolf boy called out but it was too late.

Soaring high in the sky Lucifer looked at the large green world before him. With his 「Magic Perception 」he could see all the monsters around him.

'So this a fantasy world? It's just as I predicted it would be. First things first I'll learn about this world, then I'll try and find the location of the 13 pieces of key that's scattered around the world. I don't know where to start though so I'll have to go with the flow.'

After enjoying the view he decided to camp the night and roasted the meat of a boar he killed earlier. He jammed his canine into the juicy flesh and ripped off a large piece.

'This is not bad, it tastes just like pork.'

Lucifer realized something and glanced at one of the trees. Then he took out his gun and shot at one. The bullet ripped a large hole in the tree causing it to lose support and fell over. Standing behind the tree is the werewolf boy from earlier.

"Why are you following me?" Lucifer asks with a cold tone of voice.

"I'm sorry I didn't mean it," The boy apologized, "I haven't gotten the chance to say thank you for saving me earlier."

"I didn't do it for you, now get lost," Lucifer ordered. He continued to eat his meat. "Hm?"

Lucifer noticed that the boy wasn't paying attention to him but rather interested in the piece of meat roasting over the fire.His stomach rumbled and he was drooled all over his shirt. Lucifer understood why he was looking like that and offered him the meat.

"Are you giving this to me?" The boy asked in bewilderment.

"It's better than sitting here and watching you drool over it," Lucifer said with a huff.

The boy ate the meat and chewed on it with a happy smile.

"My name is Pacoon," He introduced, "what's your name?"

"Lucifer," He responded.

"Lucifer, that sounds like a cool name,what were you doing inside that cave?" Pacoon asked but he didn't get any responses from lucifer. "Where are you from? How old are you? What kind of weapons are these?"

Pacoon reached down for one of the pistols and sensed a chill up his spine.

"Touch my gun and it will be the last thing your hand touches," Lucifer said maliciously.

"I'm sorry I didn't mean to..Huh?"

Both Pacoon and Lucifer looked up at the moon as something came flying in towards him.

"Die you bastard!" A voice shouted.

It was a person who fell from the sky and crashed at the spot where Lucifer was sitting. He jumped away and aimed his two guns at the dust cloud. It cleared away and standing there was a woman. Her hair is long and white with fox ears at the top of her head, her eyes are red, her canines are long and sharp, long white bushy tail. Her hands were paws covered in white fur up to her elbows and wolf feet with fur up her knees. Her body and limbs were wrapped in golden chains hid the nipples of her large breasts and wrapped around her waist forming a panty.

"Sister!" Pacoon called out.
