He was forced to stop as the doors were jerked open, and the room welcomed determined faces in uniform, possessing simple ammunition, as more were already surrounding the building.

More cops troop in.

A speaker booms repeatedly from the outside.

He shot a dagger look at Ryker,

He cursed.

Furiously, he bit his lower lip, raised the handgun to complete the words he failed to communicate as he aimed a shot at him.

With bated breath, Ryker ducked briskly.
