Chapter 123: Old Master Sinclair

“Old Master Sinclair is here…!”

This announcement brought quietness to the hall and everyone turned around in that direction.

The Old Master Sinclair was just arriving in the hall with his walking cane supporting his weight and making successive echoes as he moved.

His sons were standing closely by his side as they escorted him in the direction of the tall gold chair in the room that was like a throne.

The Old Man suddenly stopped walking and looked around like he was in search of something or rather someone.

“Where is my granddaughter?” His voice was grumpy but still audible, “Where is Amelia? Is Amelia not here…”

He began to ask his son questions and this made Amelia sigh tiredly.

This Old Man was on it again to make everyone believe she was the most important grandchild.

“C’mon, Grandpa’s girl, go for it. Don’t keep the old man waiting” Amelia’s Cousin who had invited her, nudged her with her elbow to go ahead.

She looked at William and he nodded too, so she left.
