“Sure, why not? I’ve saved up some money from my time in the military.”

“I’m not in the habit of spending a man’s money.”

“Alright then.”

James did not say anything else.

If Thea wanted to work, she should.

At any rate, he was still in the planning stage, unsure when it would come together.

“Go wash your face. I’m going to get changed.”

“Okay.”

James nodded and left the room.

There was no one in the living room. Everyone else had probably gone out.

Having just woken up, James washed up blearily in the bathroom. Then, he waited for Thea in the living room.

Soon, Thea emerged from her room with a change of clothes.

James was astonished to see her outfit.

Thea wore a crisp white shirt with a pencil skirt and high heels. She looked like a successful woman.

She had an excellent figure too. With her long, black hair hanging down her back, she looked like a mature, capable lady.

“You’re gorgeous.”

James complimented Thea, looking at her like she was a piece of perfect art.
