It is late morning. I can feel it, the blinds are closed and the bed is empty.I climb down from it.“Diane?." The alarm went off but I was already awake. I was standing in front of the sink washing apples. I still heard the shrill of the alarm as I sat down at the dining table with a kinfe in my hand and four apples in the blue bowl. As I took a bite of the apple, a knock sounded on my door. Everything felt really calm for a few days, I spent most days with Diane. We were both in a love spell, it was hard to see anybody but her. I was truly happy and I made memories that would be etched in the walls of my brain like a tattoo, it would be embedded so deep that even if I lost my memories, I would still have those memories. But immediately the next war was whispered to me, everything went away, the happiness and instead I was filled with insecurities. What if I die this time.It was not so light, the fear. I go through everything in my head, my subconscious mind seems to really enjoy the scene. I was in a dream like state. At first I left my house to go to Elio's now I knew that Ju was in Elio's house and she heard all of our conversations, I wondered what I would have said that would change everything.
