Ironic

Everything felt really calm for a few days, I spent most days with Diane. We were both in a love spell, it was hard to see anybody but her.

I was truly happy and I made memories that would be etched in the walls of my brain like a tattoo, it would be embedded so deep that even if I lost my memories, I would still have those memories.

But immediately the next war was whispered to me, everything went away, the happiness and instead I was filled with insecurities.

What if I die this time.

It was not so light, the fear. The fear of dying was heavy that It took guts not to run back to earth when everybody was asleep.

Every minute I thought of the war.

“Let's make it the last war!." Teddy said to me.

“The last war." I murmured

When I went home that day after I heard the statement, I had a nightmare.

I was in the battle field, as usual, my team mates were around me.

“Let's make this our last war." Teddy said to me.
