“Any news from them?” William asked Ellie, his head between his hands, his elbows on the desk in front of him. He had his eyes closed and his head down.

"No my love. None." She said and sat down next to him. He pulled her onto his lap and rested his head on her shoulder.

"This is a nightmare." He said.

“At least the company is managing to maintain itself. I know Brandon isn't dead. And Chung-hee is with him. It's going to be okay, Will."

William Ashford took a deep breath.

“I wish my boy was here and not running from the police. And the worst, for something he didn't do!"

"I know…"

The office phone rang and Ellie answered it. Her face turned serious and she hung up the phone sharply.

"What was this?" William asked. Then he squinted his eyes. "Don't tell me that Rindley Fairfax keeps calling!"

“It will stop at some point.” Ellie spoke, calmly.
