Not dead

The place was not exactly poor, but the houses seemed to being a bad condition. Rindley saw two men talking and one of them entered the house and started to drag a big black plastic bag.

As the bag appeared, Rindley couldn't help but think that it could be a person. A corpse, to be more precise.

“...the fuck?” He thought and when one of the men, the one who was not carrying the bad, saw Rindley looking at them, he nudged the other man and indicated the car with a flick of his chin.

The guy dragging the ‘corpse’ let the bag drop and looked at Rindley, who accelerated the car.

Soon, he saw another car, one that was parked near the house of those men, following him.

“Fuck!” Rindley said under his breath. He tried to cut through streets, but to no avail. Those men were not easily deceived.

His phone started to vibrate and it was Ellie. He smiled by reading her name, but that was not the moment to talk to his woman.
