The next few days were very tiring for Lucy. Gideon had a lot of work, for she didn't know how to hunt, she didn't know how to walk through the forest. He needed to carry her most of the time and Lucy felt extremely guilty about that.

When he came back with food, she was watching him. When he looked in her direction and saw Lucy's gaze, he frowned.

"What's the problem?" He asked.

"The problem is, I'm useless, a dead weight A burden!!" She said, throwing her hands up and tears streamed down her face. This wasn't the first time she'd had a crisis.

Gideon moved closer to Lucy and hugged her.

"You have so much patience..." She said, sniffling. "I do not deserve it."

“But of course you deserve it!” He kissed her forehead. “Lucy, you are wonderful. You deserve the world!”

She laughed, embarrassed.

"No, I don't deserve the world at all." She said. "I'm a cretin."
