Just a second more was all it took. A second late was all it took for Landon to be a dead person.

If he had not been quick to jump out of the way, the car would’ve run over him.

Landon fell to the ground hard.

Although the driver had applied brakes to the wheels, the car did not stop until it had already covered a certain amount of distance from where Landon was.

The car was an Audi A3 sedan.

A scowl appeared on Landon’s face as he looked at the car. There’s something wrong with this driver!

Even when he was on the right side of the road for a pedestrian, the driver almost ran him over by going off course. Landon got up from the ground with annoyance and walked towards the car intending to give the driver a piece of his mind.

The car did not move as it seemed as if the driver was waiting for him to get to the car. Upon getting to the car Landon lost his temper.
