Landon did not know whether to laugh or cry when he heard the middle-aged man’s question. He glanced at Logan, perplexed. After all, Logan was young as well. In fact, Logan didn’t appear to be more than two years older than himself. Yet, no one seemed to be making a big deal about Logan’s age or questioning his ability to compete.

Logan scratched his head, a sheepish grin forming on his face as he processed the man’s concern. “Landon may look young, but he’s quite talented,” Logan replied confidently, though there was a slight hesitation in his tone, as if he were trying to reassure not only the others but himself as well.

The middle-aged man who had raised the concern shook his head and spoke up again, his voice firm. “Sir Flying Logan, we both know that there are a lot of people in this competition who are talented. Talent alone doesn’t win battles or secure victories. What decides the outcome between two skilled opponents is experience. When two people are evenly matched in ski

. . “Good luck trying to protect him, Logan. You’re going to need it.” Muzan and his team backed away slowly, each step deliberate, exuding an air of malicious intent as they kept their eyes locked on Logan and his group. The looks they cast were not those of mere rivals but rather of predators toying with their prey, relishing the anticipation of a kill. Their mocking smirks lingered for a moment before they turned and walked away, as if losing interest in an unworthy opponent. “Such pathetic losers!” spat out the first middle-aged man from Logan’s team, his voice tinged with annoyance as he watched Muzan and his group retreat. His irritation was palpable, the disdain in his tone clear for anyone to hear. He couldn’t believe the audacity of Muzan to issue such a provocation. “Sir Logan has always been at odds with Master Muzan. They’ve been sworn enemies for as long as I can remember, so it’s only natural that Muzan would target our team specifically,” the second middle-aged man

. . “Flying Logan?” Mateo’s eyes widened slightly, glinting with a hint of surprise when he heard Logan utter his name so calmly and confidently. He had certainly heard of Flying Logan’s feats before—extraordinary achievements that had made a name for him in the martial arts world. Feats so impressive that even someone as proud as Mateo had to acknowledge them. The mere mention of Logan’s name would normally be enough to make people take a step back, but Mateo wasn’t just anyone. He prided himself on his own potential, and there was no way he would drop his pride so easily, not even for someone of Logan’s caliber. “You’re Flying Logan, and so what?” Mateo sneered, puffing out his chest with defiance. “Do you expect me to tremble in fear just because of your reputation?” “No, not at all,” Logan replied coolly, his expression unchanging. “I’m not asking you to be afraid. I’m simply stating that if you want to get to my teammate, you’ll have to go through me first. And if you’re will

. . After making her bold declaration, the fierce lady turned and strode away with a determined air, not sparing a glance at anyone else. It was as if her mind was already focused on the upcoming competition, leaving no room for distractions or further conversation. “Let’s move out,” Logan commanded firmly. He glanced over his shoulder, and Landon, along with the rest of the team, followed him closely, their expressions serious. “Hahaha… let the race begin already, so we can see some people embarrass themselves as they attempt to prove their so-called talent,” the middle-aged man in Logan’s group remarked mockingly as they continued walking towards the starting line. “I can’t wait to witness their pathetic display of skills. It’ll be amusing to watch them flounder around, trying to show off,” another teammate added with a smirk, his voice dripping with derision. Hearing Logan’s team’s comments directed at him, Mateo gritted his teeth in frustration, his face flushed with anger. “

. . Noticing that Hendrix had already reached the finish line, the rest of the martial artists became more determined than ever. The intensity of the race escalated dramatically, and the level of violence soared as competitors clashed ferociously, each refusing to back down. The reason why the martial artists reacted with such vigor was clear: now they were all competing for second place, and not a single one of them was willing to let that opportunity slip through their fingers. Most of the martial artists had reluctantly accepted that Hendrix would claim the top spot in the competition. Given his overwhelming prowess and dominance, they didn’t dare to entertain the hope of winning first place. Instead, they set their sights on the second-best position, pouring all their energy into securing it. With such fierce competition, the death race became a battlefield where brutality reigned supreme. Many fighters were mercilessly killed without hesitation. Some were so gravely injured th

. . Muzan was completely and utterly outraged. His blood boiled with anger, and his mind screamed with the urge to send Landon straight to the underworld. Yet, despite every fiber of his being yearning to act on his rage, he held himself back. The only reason he restrained himself was because he knew he had much more to lose if he continued to take on the role of the aggressor. With only two teammates left on his side, Muzan simply couldn’t afford to lose another member. The stakes were incredibly high, and losing even one more team member would automatically lead to disqualification. In this competition, a team had to maintain at least three active members in order to advance to the next round. If he lost another one of his teammates, the consequences would be not just severe, but catastrophic. To avoid finding himself on the losing side, Muzan knew he had to change his approach. He had to switch to a more defensive strategy and play it safe, even though it went against his nature

. . Most of the martial artists’ expressions turned serious when they heard the invigilator’s announcement. This reaction was especially evident among those teams that were short of members, as they realized the gravity of their situation. Muzan was no exception. His face bore an expression of deep concern. Being in a team composed of only three members and having to face such a massive number of God-level martial artists was not going to be easy. Now, it was crystal clear to him why the invigilator had emphasized that any team with fewer than three members would be disqualified right at the start. It was because a team of just two members would struggle to survive the second round’s onslaught. They wouldn’t be able to handle the intensity of what was about to come. As Muzan and his team prepared themselves, many of those who had failed the first round felt an unexpected wave of relief wash over them. Their initial disappointment transformed into gratitude that they weren’t facing

The number of teams still standing strong was not more than ten, but fortunately, Landon’s team was among the few that had managed to endure the relentless assault of the mannequins.‘As expected of Landon,’ thought a familiar lady with white hair, her lips curving into a subtle smile as she focused intently on Landon’s team through one of the numerous screens displaying the ongoing competition. There was no way she could fail to recognize Landon. After all, they had spent a considerable amount of time together in the past. The bond they shared was such that she could effortlessly spot him, even amidst the chaos and brutality of the Deadly Path of the South. "Unstoppable?" Landon repeated the word, his voice laced with confusion as he tried to process such an overwhelming description. He had always believed, without a shadow of a doubt, that there were only seven Sovereigns in existence. It was a known fact—an absolute truth that had been passed down through history. And now, not only was he forced to acknowledge the shocking revelation that there was an eighth Sovereign, but he also had to accept that this mysterious figure wasn’t just powerful—she was on an entirely different level. Landon prided himself on his strength as the Crimson Sovereign. He knew exactly how formidable he was, and so did Eve. She had seen firsthand what he was capable of. Yet, despite knowing his strength, she had just described the White Sovereign as unstoppable. That wasn’t a word to be taken lightly. That had to mean something, right? Eve’s voice was steady as she nodded, her expression serious. "Yes, she is literally unstoppable," she confirmed, her

. . "That’s because I found myself entangled in a perilous situation—the most dangerous kind of all..." Quincy said, his face pale and marked by an expression of deep-seated fear, as though reliving a terrifying memory. His voice quivered slightly, but his tone carried the weight of someone who had been through a harrowing ordeal. "Danger?" Landon’s curiosity intensified as he leaned forward, hanging on Quincy’s every word. "What kind of danger are you talking about?" Quincy took a deep breath, his shoulders sagging slightly under the burden of the story he was about to tell. "You see," he began, "I’ve been under surveillance by the King family’s people for years now—at least as far back as I can remember." His voice dropped lower, as though afraid the shadows around them might be listening. "It all started after my adopted parents were killed five years ago. My adopted parents, as it turns out, were members of a royal family embroiled in a vicious internal power struggle. In thei

  • The Almighty Landon. Chapter 443.

..Landon was at a complete loss for words as he stared at the young man before him. The declaration he had just heard seemed so unbelievable that his mind struggled to process it. He stood frozen, trapped not by the remnants of the glowing chains that had bound him moments ago, but by the sheer shock of the situation. He had already been grappling with the mystery of the strange, glowing white chains that had immobilized him. Their appearance alone was enough to throw him into confusion, yet now he was being dragged into an entirely new layer of uncertainty—one far more personal. Big brother? “Wait…” Landon finally managed to speak, his voice tinged with disbelief. “What did you just say?” He needed to hear it again, just to make sure he hadn’t misunderstood. The young man in front of him smiled, his expression calm and confident. “I said…I’m Quincy, your younger brother.” He spoke as though this revelation was the most natural thing in the world. As he spoke, he continued w

..Out of the six transfer students, this particular male stood out. He didn’t bother to hide his curiosity or disguise the fact that he was observing Landon. Even when their eyes met, the boy held his gaze, unflinching. Rather than engage in a staring contest, Landon chose to look away. It wasn’t out of intimidation but rather a calculated decision. His current persona as a miserable, unremarkable student didn’t align with the idea of locking eyes confidently with a stranger. Maintaining his cover was more important than asserting dominance in this situation. The rest of the school day proceeded without incident, and soon enough, Landon was done with his classes. As he prepared to leave campus, Kara approached him. “Landon, are you okay?” she asked gently. Her voice was filled with genuine concern, though she seemed hesitant to bring up the events of yesterday directly. Landon smiled warmly and reassured her, “I’m fine, Kara. Don’t worry about me.” Though they exchanged on

..It was the next day, and classes had resumed as if nothing had happened. The bustling halls of Cradle Valley University were alive with the usual sounds of chatter, laughter, and hurried footsteps. Students moved from one building to another, clutching textbooks and exchanging cheerful greetings. Even Landon, who was making his way to class, noted how ordinary everything appeared. Looking around, he observed how everyone was preoccupied with their own affairs, going about their routines without a second glance at him. It was almost surreal. Considering the dramatic events of yesterday, one would expect the university to be in complete disarray, struggling to recover from the attack. Yet, to Landon’s surprise, today felt like any other mundane school day. By the time Landon arrived at his classroom, he felt a shift in the atmosphere. The moment he stepped through the door, he could feel every pair of eyes fixate on him. For a brief moment, the room fell eerily silent, and all a

The cold, confining walls of the detention center had stripped away their usual composure, leaving them desperate and eager to comply with any demands that might lead to their release. The relief that washed over their faces when they learned the authorities had found them innocent was palpable. It was like the first taste of water after being stranded in a barren desert. They clung to the promise of freedom with a fervent determination, as if their very lives depended on it. Each individual was delighted, grateful to escape the harsh reality of imprisonment. Among the entire group, Tricia stood out as the most visibly relieved. She had spent her time in the detention center cursing Frank under h
