“Aren’t we supposed to be hiding?” Jasmine asked.

They were both out in the open in the busy streets of Sycamore City.

“Why should we be hiding?” Landon asked as if he did not know what she was talking about.

“I thought we would lay low till we leave the Sycamore city tomorrow. Doesn’t this leave us open for attack from Don Mathias? I know my family is powerful but Don Mathias is just as powerful as my family here in Sycamore City.” Jasmine said.

“Yes, he is powerful but he’s still a child,” Landon replied casually, not being bothered about the situation at all.

“Are you not a little bit scared at least?” Jasmine did not know whether to laugh or cry.

In short, she knew that Landon was powerful. He was very powerful to do the impossible most of the time and it was the reason why she thought he was the best person to accompany her on this journey, however, at the end of the day, Landon was still just one man.

Jasmine understood the fact fully well that one man can’t change the world
