43. Somebody Come Here!
"Joseph, you shouldn't have followed me!" Jansen warned in a hissing tone.

Joseph glared back at Jansen with a reprimanding look. They were now hiding behind the wall. Joseph repeatedly poked his head out from behind the wall to take in the surroundings.

"You should thank me for saving you," Joseph said without glancing at Jansen.

Jansen grimaced. He slightly regretted his actions that made Joseph have to intervene. Since the beginning of making plans to find evidence, he did not want anyone to know. Because, he was not willing if someone was hurt because of him.

Somehow Joseph was able to find out about her whereabouts. Even so, on the other hand, Jansen was somewhat touched to realize that Joseph cared about him. Even though during their time together at the training base, Jansen thought Joseph was the one who hated him the most.

"You saw the wound on your face, it was annoying and ridiculous," Joseph said again. "Who would want to see your face like that?"
