Chapter Thirty Six

I stood behind a counter, awaiting the return of the receptionist who went to acquire the mail received in my name.

My eyes simultaneously glanced at my watch, seeing how much time is wasted here already. Nile is outside waiting for me, I promised not to keep him waiting for too long.

The middle aged woman finally came back, holding what looks like an enveloped letter.

“Here is your mail. I’m just going to need you to sign right here and here.” She pushed a logged register in front of me, the mail placed beside it and also a blue inked pen.

My eyes crawled away from the register to the mail to see the name stamped on it. HAVARD. I ignored the lady’s request, grabbing hold of the letter and tearing it open with one rip.

My heart drummed in fear, against the sully surface of my chest, with a single deep sigh I brought the letter out. Immediately reading through the content, my gaze keened on a particular phrase highlighting my acceptance into HARVARD.
