Gerald woke up from that nightmare and realized he was still at the hospital. All he needed that moment was to leave and get drowned again, intending that he would return back to the future which he had corrupted.

He also discovered that he was alone, hence, that could be an easy way for him to take his plight. Alex was pained however, nothing was more heartbreaking than leaving Natalie alone without rectifying his mistakes. However what was the need of returning when those he had hurt wished him death?

That thought didn't click his mind, if everyone was against him, his Natalie would always be for him and he was fine by it.

The young lad rose from the bed, pulled out the drip, leaped towards the door, opened it and peeped if perhaps anyone was there just not to stop him from escaping. It was tough sneaking out of the hospital unseen by family members, however, he succeeded.

He was still confused though at how friendly and welcoming his family who disliked him so much had become over
