Whatever they were planning next, she just hopes she survives because no one was ready to kiss the earth goodbye, thanks to Gerald  who had enraged Chang.

That was his plan, to cause Chang  to get wroth in the presence of the officials and then finds some evidence to arrest Chang. What then was the second plan going to be? From the looks of it, Mrs. Helen was already regretting why she chose to help them rather than run for her life.

Grace showed up with Fiona  at the tallest building, she was expecting Gerald to be around there, but he wasn't. She only met Mrs. Helen, who was pacing to and fro.

“Where's he?” grace questioned prying at the place. She could see that everyone here was engrossed in something all the other.

To grace  it was like she was coming into a different world, haven been locked up inside the store room, she had little or no idea of what was going on and was just discovering the havoc.
