Richard Foster confidently shook his head, "Young Master Morland, even if I could get a much better position than what I have now, I would never be able to stand my ground when I got it the wrong way round."

He sighed and continued, "I've gone through so much and fought so hard to get to the position I'm in now, I'm not going to throw away my efforts that I've worked so hard for to get an instant position."

"I can never be proud of that," Richard ended his explanation and it made Jack smile at the middle-aged man.

He was so relieved to hear that and he even thought that he never regretted choosing the general division back then.

"Thank you for being loyal to my family and ... not taking advantage of my difficult position," Jack said quietly to the middle-aged man.

They talked about a few things next and finally Jack said to Richard, "If I need your help, would you be willing to help me?"

"Of course, Young Master. Whatever you need and want, I will definitely try to do it for you,"
