Chapter Eighty two

Marcus stood outside the company, leaning against the gate in a hidden corner where he couldn't be seen. He was waiting for everyone to leave the office so he could sneak in and search for clues. Just as he was starting to relax, his phone rang. He picked up the call, and Kathrine’s voice was on the other end.

"What's up, Kate?" Marcus asked, his tone casual.

"Bad news, boss," Katherine replied, her voice hesitant.

Marcus groaned, sensing something was off. "Spill it," he said, his tone firm.

Kate hesitated before delivering the news. "We can't find Johnson," she said, her voice barely above a whisper.

Marcus's expression turned serious, his mind racing with possibilities.

"He didn't return to his penthouse last night?" he asked, his voice laced with concern.

"No, sir," Kate replied, her voice firm.

Marcus groaned, rubbing his forehead. Adding Johnson to his list of worries was the last thing he needed.
