The intruder entered Sandra's room, his face contorted with anger and frustration. Finding no sign of the occupants, he ground his teeth, the silence in the empty room serving as a deafening reminder of their failure. The leader's harsh bark echoed in the hall: "Check everywhere. They can't have gone far."

With renewed determination, the team fanned out, their adrenaline-fueled search turning every corner and peering into every nook and cranny.

But no matter how frantically they searched, there was no trace of the vanished Sandra and Marcus. Where could they have gone?

The weight of his predicament bore down on the leader with crushing force. He could not dare return to his master without Marcus; the consequences would be dire.

"Sir!" one of his men reported, "We can't find Marcus anywhere."
