Marcus stared at the envelope, tore it open, and then realized it was addressed to Amayah, not him.

"I guess they still think we're together," he muttered to himself. He decided to drop it and let go of any involvement in her life, but as he placed the envelope on the table, something caught his eye, and his eyes widened in shock.

"It can't be... no, no, it can't be..."

As he read the letter, he was shocked. He blinked three times, but the words remained the same. He couldn't believe it. The letter was from the hospital, stating Amayah's report, warning her that the last abortion had affected her and she shouldn't try it again.

He was stunned, "I never knew she was pregnant," he muttered.

"Who is pregnant?" Sandra asked from behind, and he turned around, "Amayah," he said sadly.

"Amayah is pregnant, but for whom?" he asked himself, dropping the paper on the floor.

"I need to get to the root of this matter," he said, stepping out and slamming the door behind him.
