The Angel System Chapter 3

First Day at Military school

Hiro woke up with a bright smile on his face, he had barely slept for two hours yet his whole body felt rejuvenated beyond measure. He felt lighter, faster, and more light headed, even his senses had improved beyond measure.

Hiro happily began to hum and sing joyously jumping from place to place as he freshened up. His mind was going through the infinite possibilities the system could bring to him.

His mind soon wandered to somewhere else, Yeah sure he had found a way to get more powerful, but that didn't mean that it would protect him from the bullying and harsh treatment of the academy.

Soon enough his mind began generating images of him getting bullied or being used as a slave by his fellow mates, all because of the power gap

Hiro stopped what he was doing as soon as he finished dressing, his mind kept wandering to different places, imagining different scenes and different outcomes, some good and some bad.

The beeping of his watch brought him back to reality, prompting him to check the time only to discover that it was only ten minutes left when the military official would show up.

He quickly added the finishing touches to his outfit, a black watch to complement his black shirt and white jeans with white stripes completed with black shoes and leather gloves.

Hiro quickly walked outside to wait for the military official to arrive, he kept a stern expression without any sign of flinching as he awaited the military personnel.

At exactly 3. A.M. a military officer appeared right in front of his gate where he waited for him, It was a man clad in all white even his hair was silver colored giving him an angelic appearance.

"Mr. Hiro Bliss, please step in the car If you have any weapons or clothes that you would like to take with you please bring them along, If you choose to go inside for any reason you will be killed on the spot, Do you understand, " He said in a monotonous voice.

Hiro nodded his head vigorously to show him that he was ready and he understood, I was about to walk toward him when he spoke. "Don't worry". He said, snapping his fingers the bags instantly teleported before Hiro's eyes.

"Goodbye, Mr. Hiro" Hiro was shocked to see the man waving at him, and the next thing he knew his body faded into dust and all he saw was white, A headache washed over Hiro as he slowly but surely began to regain his sight.

"Welcome to military school you five are group one and will be assessed shortly now please make your way to the assessment room." A soothing female voice said from the speakers.

Hiro was confused, but he knew better than to be stupid around military personnel so he talked to the assessment room with his supposed teammates .

The military academy didn't even welcome them and just began rushing them as soon as possible, this was due to the high number of students that would still need to be assesed throughout today, Hiro and hus group were the luckiest of the lucky and managed to be the first group to get assesed, the assessment of all the students in a country could sometimes take weeks if not months depending on the size, all these were the reason the military wanted to get this done as soon as possible.

"Hello, my name is Jace" a boy who looked like the typical all-American hero tried to start a conversation with Hiro, Hiro looked him up and down assessing him without trying to be disrespectful.

'Blonde hair, blue eyes 6"4, pink lips, muscular, and he looks rich' Hiro thought, he assessed Jace's features in a matter of seconds, if it was a battle of looks Hiro would have definitely bested Jace with his unique red eyes and his dark black hair.

'Why is this kid randomly being nice to me, is this some plot? ' Hiro thought while hiding his thoughts behind a fake smile, he wasn't stupid enough to trust a powerful-looking stranger just cause they were nice to him.

"Hi, my name is Hiro". Hiro said masking his look of distrust behind a genuine-looking smile, he extended his hand for a shake which Jace accepted.

No one was this nice and he might end up turning me into his lackey, Hiro returned his friendly facade.

"Group one please move to the assessment room." the same female voice from before said.

Hiro still didn't trust Jace enough and decided to inspect him, he activated his [Eyes of God level.1] skill and looked right at Jace, He was a bit shocked at what he was seeing.

A half-red and blue ball encased in a white one, he swiftly looked at every other member who only had one color inside their white core he looked at himself only to see the usual white ball but the Inside was hollow and blank.

His eyes went wide at the realization that Jace had two abilities, he hadn't heard of such a thing before.

"Jace Hage please begin your assessment." The female voice said through the speakers.

The assessment room was a wide and white colored room with an elevated metal platform in the center, there were several machines lined up, meant to take proper assessment of students.

With a smile of Gold on his face Jace walked up to the elevated metal platform to begin his assessment.

As soon as Jace stepped on the metal platform, 10 circular-shaped targets, sprung up from the floor, Jace smiled on seeing this, he knew it would be far too easy for him.

He simply stretched out his ten fingers trying to aim at each one of the targets, the confident smile on Jace's face throughout the whole thing made Hiro and the rest of the team interested in his power.

With a small flex of his muscles, ten shockwaves left his fingers with immense precision and accuracy, it looked like ten bullets had been shot out of each of his fingers and were all headed towards the targets, as soon as the energy collided with the targets a loud explosion like the sound of ten gunshots being fired off was heard and each target had been blown to bits.

The ground immediately sprouted spikes, not wanting to give Jace a second of rest, making him jump around looking for safe ground, Jace continued his jumping from place to place which lasted for about 5minutes till a spike pricked him only then did everyone realize that the spikes were just a hologram.

A drum-like material sprung up in front of Jace which signified a new assessment, the drum was huge and circular, with a tiny circle in the middle.

Jace smiled while looking at the target, with a deep breath, the air around him suddenly became heavy and anyone could feel the power radiating off of his muscles, he lunged his arms forward with all his might making the drum vibrate intensely, the explosion from Jace's punch and the wind it carried was enough to shake Hiro nearly off of his feet, the drum began calculating the power used and stopped at 500.

A few other people completed their assessment leaving Hiro.

Immediately the targets sprung up Hiro used[ Angel flash] which only took 2 Angel energy he determined that it was a speed-related skill based on the name and he barely knew how to use it properly.

Hiro used Angel Flash which gave him a small burst in speed, allowing him to move with more speed and pressure but he had to stop at regular intervals, Hiro continued taking out the targets one by one with his hand, which was incredibly slow.

The spikes came and Hiro was able to dodge confidently with his normal speed for about 10 seconds before he had to use AngeFlash to keep up with the increasing speed of his spikes.

He managed to last another 10 seconds before touching a spike, Leaving him with 6Angel energy.

Next was the drum, Hiro had a rough plan, he walked up to the drum and activated Angel Fist which made an invisible aura of Angel energy condense around his fists and he struck at the drum-like object which calculated his power which stopped at 10.

A female officer came in and handed the group watches, which he immediately put on, it had the number one reflected on it stating Hiro's level.

Curious, Hiro looked over at Jace only to see a 7 on his watch while the rest of his group members had numbers 3,4,5 respectively.

(The military power levels went from one to ten which was based on the number of Holy cells In a person's body). The watches were able to tell someone's power level automatically but the tests were still conducted to make weaker people see power before their very eyes and strive to attain it.

"All of you have been assigned to dorm room one, Please take your keycards and go over the rules on your watch."The female officer said.

Hiro and his group all headed to the room together making small talk here and there, except Hiro who was too shy, it was a group of four guys and a girl in the same dorm room but with different bathrooms and beds the female and the male sides.

The room was quite luxurious half blue half pink which was to show the different places of each gender, The kitchen was the only place that was not divided there was an adjustable inch TV and a thermometer that allowed you to adjust the temperature on each side of the room there was also a center table in the middle of the room which had a card placed on it.

Hiro opened his watch to check the message that had just come in, only to see a video projection or a hologram as some people might say.

"My Name is Ariel Oslom and I am the supreme commander Please endeavor to do your best All schedules have been sent to your watches tick the classes you would like, goodbye. " The woman in the projection said.

Hiro opened his watch and began to select his classes

Combat class

Fitness class

Demon research class

Ability research class

Holy energy class.

Hiro sent his classes straight to the Principal.

classes were to start by exactly 6 A.M

“Has Hiro Bliss arrived? ” A man who seemed to be made completely out of shadows said while puffing his cigarette.

“Yes” A woman from behind him said.

“Good, lets initiate phase one. ” The man said and a smile formed on his shadowy face.
