Chapter 17

When Ric walked in to the meeting room, there was a large round oak table with about four doors around. He read the labels on each door and immediately knew which one to go through.

He found dark shades placed strategically with the label Chairman and he easily unlocked the glass box and retrieved the shades before entering the room.

When he walked in after scanning his finger and eyes, he saw a long conference table and five men sat around it making him the sixth.

They were so far apart and each wore shades which made it difficult to tell who was who.

The men were shocked to see such a beggarly dressed man walk in and assume the empty seat and the head of the table but none made a comment because they knew only the chairman himself could gain such access.

All five men stood to acknowledge Ric and only returned to their sitting positions when he had fully settled into his seat.
