While everyone panicked, Johnson immediately got bodyguards to take the chairman and the man on top of him to safety.

When Johnson arrived the room where they were both kept, Johnson realized that Ric had not been injured at all except a cut on his wrist when he fell from the impact of the man that had jumped on him.

The man was completely unconscious as he had taken the bullet for Ric and Ric sat there in shock.

More than ever before Ric was more determined to keep his identity hidden and Johnson fully agreed.

"Come with me please," Johnson led Ric to an inner room where he immediately changed out to the suit he had come to the ball with initially but he forgot to change his mask.

Ric had returned to the busy crowd to mix up with everyone else before someone immediately shouted,

"That's the Chairman!"

Ric felt self conscious and his heart dropped to his stomach when he realized he was the one the lady pointed at.
