A Fight with Nothing

I fell on the ground, rolled on it and stood up. The cut on my back healed up in a few breaths. I looked around to see if anyone was with me but I still saw nothing. I drew out my sword, using the Holy Veil's senses and sight to predict where the next attack will come from

I realized that dinse my greatest fear is Nothing, I'm fighting Nothing

The sense of danger that I felt is more concentrated on my left side so I guess that is where Nothing is. With all my speed I ran there and with all my strength I swung my sword but I stopped halfway. Nothing twisted the sword, forcefully collected it and threw it away. Nothing squeezed my neck, I almost died. Nothing threw me away and I gasped for air as I landed.

To kill nothing, I need to find my advantage against it or its own weakness.

Nothing slashed me again as it healed up immediately. This continues for a long time and I have to endure the pain.

All the cuts nothing caused on me were healed instantly, as if they were never there, except for the pain I felt when I was slashed, I almost felt nothing.

This isn't because of my healing abilities, I'm not that fast in healing.

After thinking for a long time, I know why the healing is do fast

As long as I'm fighting Nothing, Nothing can kill me, Nothing can hurt me, Nothing can cause physical damage on me do all Nothing's damage were healed up instantly

Having found out my advantages, I stood on my feet, enduring those pains, I slashed the air in front of me. The attacks stopped for a while but resumed sooner than I thought I slashed the air again and the process repeated itself till I found out nothing's disadvantage

Nothing can be replaced with Something

Now, I need to find something to replace the Nothing before me l. All I have with me is my sword, except me, there is nothing in the whole of the fifth quarter

"I guess I'll have to go to the fourth quarter, where all the bricks and dirts are"

I ran out of the fifth quarter towards the fourth quarter. With every step I take, I am feeling this slash and pain on my back. Sometimes I fall, other times I run faster as if I can outrun Nothing but Nothing is everywhere.

After ten minutes of running I got to the fourth quarter. I started throwing all the dirt up, all the bricks that I could carry, I threw them up and the attack stopped. I kept on throwing them, the bricks broke and dust rose in the air. When I threw up all of the dirt, there was still dust in the air and no attack from Nothing. I thought I have completed the mission but I didn't receive the mission completed notification

I covered my nose and barely breathed till the dust calmed down.

When the dust calmed down I took a deep breath and heaved a sigh of relief but before I could do anything else, a slash landed on my body.

"Aaargh"

I screamed and stood up. I tried defending myself against Nothing's attack but nothing always had a way of getting to me. Some words popped up in my vision which I read without thinking twice with the hope of it being mission completed

[Nothing is immortal, Mission Altered]

[Mission Changed: escape from Nothing's attack for fifteen minutes]

I don't know if I should be happy or sad, the mission is easier but still almost impossible since nothing is everywhere

I was running around the fourth quarter but still couldn't escape Nothing's attack.

I remembered that when there were dusts in the air, Nothing didn't attack. Do I stir up the dirt in the quarter and I don't feel Nothing's attacking but the dirt cannot stay in the air for 15 minutes? Do I still get hit by nothing? I didn't give up the stir of dirt and I did it continuously without stopping. The dust stayed in the air for 10 minutes and I felt the need to breathe on fresh breath, no dusty air. Out of suffocation and desperation, o ran out of the fourth quarter and breath on fresh air but also received a slash from Nothing.

I need something that can fill the whole room at I will still survive in it like a river, but I can't survive inside a river

River, I need something similar

While enduring the pain from Nothing's slashes, I ran to the second quarter.

"If I can disconnect the spirit energy of this quarter from its spiritual Core and cause a spirit wave, I can evacuate nothing from the room." I thought

It isn't hard to find the spiritual core since there is a stable spirit energy. I went to the shining pink coin and took it from its position. The spirit energy in the quarter started moving to and fro from the surface alone. After a few minutes, it reached the end and the spirit energy started moving around the whole quarter swinging from one side to another. But somehow, Nothing still managed to strike me sometimes.

The spirit energy in this quarter isn't enough to make a spirit wave

I ran to the first quarter and wanted to disconnect the spirit energy from the spiritual core but then I remembered that if I will dive into a spirit wave, I need to cover my body with my spirit. Having no spirit, I cultivated spirit energy in the first quarter for a while then disconnected its spirit energy from its spiritual Core. I let the spirit energy in the second quarter join with the one in the first quarter. They both mixed up and formed a spirit wave. I entered the quarter after covering my body with my spirit. The spirit wave was swinging to and fro giving Nothing enough air to slash me a few times. O don't know what to do anymore so I sat down, and decided to keep cultivating. The two spiritual Cores that are with me dissolve into spirit energy and join the spirit wave, making the spirit wave more bigger. After cultivating a substantial amount of spirit, I let it all out and mixed it with the spirit wave with the hope of controlling the spirit wave but to my disappointment, my spirit was absorbed. The spirit wave in the first quarter becomes so much that it fills the whole quarter giving no space for Nothing to stay. I kept cultivating until I received a notification

Where is the reward?

I break out of cultivation just to see that there is no more spirit wave, rather there is a doll. I took the doll and viewed it's stats

Remark: As long as it is with you, your body will keep absorbing spirit energy. It won't get destroyed until you cultivate all the spirit in it.
