The Apocalypse Saviour

First Time

The village is full of long grasses and small huts. There were around 50 superhumans in the village. The super humans were surprised with what they see and couldn't understand

"Do not be afraid or relax, I've been in a dungeon like this before . They are most times filled with dwarves alone, just learn that dwarves are friendly unlike other monsters" the guild master advised

The guild keep scouting the village until one of them called out " we found something" others rushed to where the voice came from

It was a deep hole filled with water but it wasn't closed.

"This place looks more of a safe zone to me" one of the guild administrator said

"Are there safe zones in dungeons" another asked

"I have come across a safe zone in a dungeon before but not on the first floor. It's impossible for a devil to make its first floor a safe zone" the dungeon master answered

" What if he's just being nice? " One of the newbies asked

" There is no being nice when it comes to the devil, it's either you die or survive. No mercy, no grace" the guild master answered again

The guild master asked for a cup and he drew water out of the well, smelled it and said " it is honey water, made by king bees. We shouldn't stay here for long, let's move"

Just as the guild turn their back at the well, they heard bees buzz

" Run"

The dungeon master took to his heels and others followed but they met some other bees before them

"Queen bees, stop. Superhumans with fortress or protection powers, set up a fortress and cover us, those with wide attacks like fire or poison , attack "

Everyone took the formation the guild master but before they could attack, they heard a loud horn and a faint voice

" Stop, do not attack"

On hearing the horn sound, the bees dispersed leaving the superhumans in fear. The superhumans didn't leave the formation and let the guild master address whoever stopped the bees

"Who are you" the guild master called out

"I live here" the faint voice replied

"Where are you?"

"Here"

Everyone looked around but couldn't find anyone

"Right here, beneath you"

They all faced down and they saw a dwarf with a long beard.

"How come you all are so tall and with no beards?" The dwarf asked "are you strangers"

The guild master bent down and reply the dwarf

"Yes we are. What is this place?"

"Hmph, guess you are from the world men, you must be humans"

'yes we are"

"And you are here for dungeon hunting?"

"Yes"

"Hahaha, it must be a great surprise for you then, meeting this instead of a dangerous cave"

"Yeah, we are very surprised. Can you tell us what is going on "

" It's been six months since the dungeon appeared and we haven't heard from the dungeon master so we dwarves happen to be the only monster on this floor. We made this village and I think you people should see the village leader, I'll take you there"

The dwarf volunteered to take them to the village head and lead them there.

In the dungeon; highest floor

"Do you think Mou have conveyed my message to every monsters in the dungeon"

"It should be by now. Just hope that the humans won't go past the first floor because the random monsters might not obey your order"

"Let's see the situation on the first floor"

"Dungeon Status" Warg called out and the pictures of every floor in the dungeon appeared. Warg clicked on the first floor and the conversation between the humans and the dwarf appeared. We watched a dwarf lead the humans to the village head.

The dwarf told the humans to stay out of the palace while he entered. He greeted the dwarf leader and said "there are many humans outside of the palace, my Lord"

"I have been expecting the them, an other just came from the dungeon master that the humans shouldn't be killed, he wants is to abduct them"

"What should I do, my Lord?"

"Be friendly to them, do not let them suspect anything. Prepare a dinner that I will go with the humans but make sure you add some sleeping herbs to the honey water that will be served"

"Yes my Lord" the dwarves said she went out to the humans

"The village head wants a dinner with you all, follow me to the venue"

The humans, although suspicious, have no choice but to follow the dwarf to a place where there are small chairs and short tables. There are many of them, enough to contain all the humans. The humans sat down and after some minutes, the dwarf leader joined them, sitting opposite the guild master.

"I'm very pleased to have you people here with us. We have never received a visitor in the past six months, consider the first floor of the dungeon a safe zone for humans after fighting monsters, you can always come here to rest"

"You mean there are monsters in this dungeon?"

"Yes, once you leave this village, you might of might not meet with the orges but right on the second floor, there are many monsters for you to kill"

" So what are we waiting for, we are not here to get treated to dinner by some stranger dwarf" the guild master stood up, wanting to tell his members to move

" Just that you can't know the way out of this village and there are many bees around, they are very dangerous "

"what do you want us to do "

" Nothing, I'll will tell one of my men to take you out of the village. As for the bees, once you drink the honey water that will be served soon, their bites won't affect you. They will just be like flies, hahaha" the dwarf leader laugh out loud

After a few minutes, honey water was served. They hurriedly drank the honey water to set out for their journey to the second floor but before they could take 5 steps, they all fell one by one to the ground; asleep. The guild master before falling asleep looked at the dwarf leader with a questioning face

"Am sorry, it's an order from the dungeon master"

In The Dungeon

"The dwarves did great, Mou is fast too. What do we do next?" I asked Warg

"Commend and reward your monsters, this will make them make them more loyal"

"The first floor, I've never been there before"

"Yeah, there is an elevator just at the door, state where you are going and it will take you there"

" So devils know science too" I said as moved away

When I got to the first floor, the dwarves tieing down the humans together and Mou was also present in case the humans made any movement.

"Y'all have done great, and you will be rewarded. Mou, for the time being you will be the captain of all the monsters on my dungeon"

"It's my pleasure dungeon master. I promise to do my duties diligently"

" Good. As for the dwarves, you know that I'm a new dungeon master and I know nothing about dungeon mastering so I will give you the chance to ask for what you want. If it's by my capabilities, I'll do it for you"

The dwarves started throwing on their suggestions

" We need females, we need to reproduce "

" No, we only need warrior dwarves to protect us from the orcs and ogres"

Many of them kept talking and the floor lost its decorum

" Enough, let the dwarf leader speak "

The dwarf leader came forward and pays respect to the dungeon master

"My Lord, since the dungeon appeared we've been in the dungeon, then it was a like a hot cave with little air and that is how a dungeon is supposed to be but after few weeks, we started having a number of deaths do we changed the setting of the first floor from a cave to a small village without the consent of the dungeon core protector. We ask for your forgiveness and please, don't turn the floor back into a cave"

Somehow I was upset about what the dwarves had done, stealing their way to the top floor and tampering with the dungeon is not good. But if they haven't done that, how will the humans think this is a safe zone and key down their guard. I decided to forgive them but not permit, I have to punish them, they have to learn not to act recklessly whether I'm present or not.

"I'll will forgive them out but your punishment is that you will move all of the humans to the top floor without the help of Warg and then, I'll do what you want "

" Thanks dungeon master, we will obey your order"

" Mou, follow me"
