"Of course you won't know about the devil general. These devils are more like humans, apart from their looks and their blood lust. When the war started, it was the whole devil army that came to destroy the city, after their victory, the devil may have started retreating little by little. Then there was no devil general. A soldier just took five if it's comrade and massacred a whole street, when the Devil Lord asked for reason, gr said there has to be someone that will input fear into the heart of the humans or humans will take the devils for granted. The devil Lords and King thought the idea to be a good idea so made him a general and gave him devils to control. The devils moved to somewhere else out of the city, leaving the devil general to check us. Those that were brave enough to go against the devil general, they left the city to the village, most of them got killed though. Despite the devil general just having a small number of devil soldiers in his army, no one dared cross him or kill one of the soldiers. That is because they have a hive mind. Fight one and the others comes to attack you"
Lyla seems to know a lot about the devil army.
Suddenly, Lyla's face turn pale as she talked
She remembered that she saw the corpse of a devil in the he house that she was robbed the last day
Hearing Lyla's words, Sean's face shared the same sick look too
"Looks like I'm in deep trouble"
Sean said lightly.
His intentions was to get more information out if Lyla
Ever since he was a kid, he has been struggling to survive so he had mare the habit of never fully trusting anyone
Especially in a life and death situation like this one.
"You are not the only one in trouble. You killed a devil and his scent will be on you, the hive mind would have alerted other devils and they can easily find you with the scent in you. They will not stop until they kill us to prop their ego and put fear in the hearts of other humans'' Lyla said through gritted teeth then she turned to Sean and said "my food will last me for two more days, what about you?"
"About the same" Sean answered while emptying the leather bag, revealing all that is in it
Sean was honest so Lyla felt like she had nothing to hide either, so she went to another part of the room and brought out a can of food and a few more snacks.
Lyla looked at her remaining food again and a pitiful look flashed through her face.
"You seem to be very skilled, how many devils can you fight at once? Don't worry, those devil soldiers are not so strong, except for the magma on them"
"I've only fought a devil before and it is a little difficult, especially the magma part."
"To fight them, you need to avoid close range attack, you might need a long weapon or a long range weapon"
Sean remembered those devils also have incredible strength, to fight them he needs to avoid contact with them but how will he do that when he have to face more than three devils head on
"Do we have to face them head on?" Sean asked taking into consideration their advantages and limitations
"What, you'd rather set up an ambush?" Lyla asked
She seem shocked at first but when she thought about it, she calmed down
"Maybe you are right. We are outnumbered and they are more stronger than we are. It will be suicidal to face them head on, am ambush is our only choice"
Sean agreed with a nod and continued. "I think there are more of them in the street that we met. Am sure you must be more familiar with that place so we will have to hide in one of the buildings there. Even if there are many of them, they will have to split up to search for us in one house, it will be easier for us to kill them when they split up. Don't tell me the scent on me will lead them specifically to me and they can just follow the scent to wherever I am" Sean said and asked fearfully
"Of course not, they can only guess where you are through the scent, they will still have to split up to search for you unless you killed more than one devil. But that scent will linger on us if we survive the battle"
She seemed to allow Ted with my light tone if speaking
"The devils might not be familiar with the buildings either but neither are you, you are from another area " She quickly added at her smile disappeared
"I'm human, I can always guess some things right but they are common warlocks"

"Oh"
Trina eyed the carriage team comprising several horses pulling two carriages, escorted by a dozen or so armed men with bundles strapped on their back
They were organized around a few women and children shredded under their umbrellas in the middle of the company
"Let them board the empty ox carriage"
On this trip to the League, Trina and Liu were disguised as young, rich travelers because the League preferred to keep the identities of their members a secret and Trina seemed to love things that way. If she was exposed as a new member of the League, they will be delayed by the villagers as they will stop them to show their respect and appreciation.
"Many thanks to out host"
In the distant, Trina could see some muscular men in the carriage team cup his fist towards him
He nodded slightly ander lowered the curtains, leaving the rest to the League members. She just hope they are protected from attack but of anything should happen, the league members should be able to handle it
The carriage team progressed forward and other teams merged with Trina's.
After traveling for a few more hours, Trina's team separated from the carriage team and their speed picked up.
In a few minutes, their carriage arrived at their destination and some of the league administrators were waiting for her there.
……
Flying Inn
"Please have a seat sister Train"
In the private room of the restaurant, a handsome, tanned and muscular man was seated.
The young man smiled at Trina when she entered
"You can call me Cheng. I'm the one arranged by the League to receive you. I'm also the one to take you to the sect you have chosen or will choose"
It was then that Trina remembered that she hadn't chosen any sect. She rushed back to the carriage and took the list of sects then came back to the inn.
While having another hot drink, she scrutinized the scroll of paper in his hand.
"Heavenly Lotus Sect: One of the leading sects in the league, majoring in poison and wind based magical arts. Can enroll as a pupil. Assessment of talent required to become a disciple"
"Mountain Splitting Stars Aligning Sect: One of the leading sects in the League. Majoring in earth and speed based magical arts. Can enroll as a pull. Condition on becoming a pupil same as above
Brocade Sect: Among the average sects in the league. No specialization; provides training in all areas. This is the sect with most members. Can enroll as elite pupil and study in the inner court"
…
Row by row, the names and distinguished features of each sect were labeled clearly on the scroll, along with the identity they could enroll Trina as; she was a gifted invited student afterall and the sects that wanted her will have to entice her with offers.
Having read the scroll from top to bottom, Trina doesn't find any of them that satisfy her.
Out of them all, she did find two considerable ones; Brocade Sect and Anti Devil Sect.
Brocade Sect was a sect that will take you in regardless of your talents, many students do join that sect but Anti Devil Sect was a sect in decline
Her specialized magic arts were lost due to the death of some of her masters in war against the devils.
When they started, they used to be a strong sect that researched about devils and dragons but during a fight against the devils, they became the main targets of the devils because their attacks strongly affected the devil army. Most of their members were killed, most of their researches were lost along with the death of the masters leaving behind only some useless miscellaneous arts
Presently, Anti Devil Sect was hanging on by its nails, probably it will not take long before it was canceled by the League. When it's remaining members were gone, it will remain only the soft ground and the League will want to put the sect ground to better use than it just bearing a name
Lyla agreed with Sean and she continued talking"You are very good with the use of a dagger. Are you sure you want to do this? Are you sure you are strong enough?"Sean understands Lyla is asking if he is mentally prepared for the fight against the devils and he won't just get killed before the fight starts."Come on, I made this decision and I'm ready. Moreso, I've got no choice, unless I want to be trailed by devils until I die or the tribulation is over. If I'm lucky, I have to do this. Sean smiled and reassured Lyla.He didn't want to risk their plan.He had not minded fighting the devil soldiers. If it was some human soldiers or thugs, he can easily dodge them instead of going to a fight with them. But this? With the scent? It surely was a different matter entirely."Uhm, apart from being safe, is there anything we can loot from the battle? Something that can at least help us through the tribulation" Sean asked ay after thinking of what profit they can derive from the battle"You
"Another skill? So skulls can be learnt from NPCs, that will be great if it's true. I'll just have to put a good impression you on the character and get the skill I want" All sort of thoughts popped up in Sean's mind and he answered "of course I do" Excluding the skills that his bounded player added to their arsenal, Sean only has one skill for himself. Although he doesn't know how powerful a skill might be, judging from the description of his skill, it must be a game changer. 'The more skills you have, the more powerful you get, especially when you start to level up your skills', he learnt that from his sister Trina. There was a time when Trina tried to teach him how to play video games with a low realism percentage but he never had time. Work, school, medical treatment, all of this used up his time. Well, he did learn about attributes, they could help supporting skills and vice versa What happened next confirmed his hypothesis After he agreed, Lyla started to explain her evadin
Sean though of the reason, he guessed that was because he was still a novice player, not experienced enough.Lyla watched his demonstrations and also imitiate have steps, it quite difficult for her to learn the skill unlike Sean who learnt it instantly with the help of the system. "Using dagger seem to be more difficult than blocking attacks" Lyla spectated, breathing heavily. "That is because attacking skills can also be used to defend, take blocking with a dagger for example" Sean explained. Lyla stopped learning for a while, sge looked at Sean as jealousy flashed through her face. "You are lucky, aren't you? You have already learnt blocking skill and you are also good with the dagger, you can just attack while defending at the same time. Guess I'm not as good as you are""Don't think that way. To be honest, I can learn things faster today because 'self defense has always been a prominent course for all yo study back at home'. You tried your best. " Sean comforted Lyla. He is n
Sean with him s backpack on was like a soldier that just returned from war; he took Lyla's advise to wear all clothes because she said it will make them look scary and humans will be afraid of them. Although he had no black cloth, Lyla provided him one. Lyla already laid down her guard completely since Sean taught Heth s dagger skill, she deemed him as a friend that she can at least be safe with; someone that won't still her food but still had this little vigilance incase Sean tried betraying her. She wore a black dress that fit her petite body. The dress was so tight that it made the originally slim girl's breast and butts to shot out of cloth; with a black lip gloss and eye lashes on, Lyla looks more attractive than scary. When Sean saw Lyla in her dress, his heart race for a while, he found Lyla more attractive than when he first saw her at the robbery. He felt his heart race. Back on earth, no girl will want to associate with poor guys like him, they believe where there is no
While ripping the devil's flesh, Sean cut his flesh open in the process but he didn't care, he doesn't have time. Without knowing, hus blood mix with the devil's and the devil's blood flow into his body. Sean didn't stop cutting the bones until he received a message from the system.[Congratulations! [Sean's POV]Temptation! That was the first thing that came to my mind. And did I just hear her call me dungeon master?I furrowed my brows and turned back, I saw a lady. She had long white hair that covered her round face which had a broad smile on it. She was wearing nothing, just a robe that covered her breast and a mini skirt to cover her waist. My heart was beating faster when she cast her lustful gaze on me, it wasn't because I was scared, this lady is damn pretty, or should I say hot. I stared at her at a loss of words, but then, I returned to my right senses, I am human, why will she call me dungeon master?"If the dungeon master has any questions, you can ask me" the voice sounded again, it was like the sound of the voice was bringing out my lustful desires. I tried my best to overcome the temptation and I asked her"Who are you and where am I?""you are in the dungeon stationed in Golg" she replied without moving from where she was "the dungeon in Golg?"' I said, recalling
"Welcome dungeon Master " said the lady I met earlier who is also the dungeon core protector"I am not interested in explaining myself like I did the last time neither am I interested in your dungeon mastering whatever "I said unconcerned "I know you will come up with this so I have decided to do things on your behalf" I still didn't reply as I folded my arms and laid against the wall. The vines started moving and before I could move, I got tied down. The lady dipped her finger inside my body and our finger pierced through my skin, she let out a drop of my blood on the dungeon core and some words appear in the air [System activated][Occupation accepted as an hybrid of the devil kingdom][The hybrids blessing 100,000 points][The worst spirit concentration!
