“I do not care to hear more!” Elena, Tyler’s mother snapped, raising her hand at Tyler.

“Mother,” Tyler cried out, but she gave him no chance to speak further.

“When your father died, I promised that I was going to take care of you with everything in me. It breaks my heart that I have clearly failed your father and myself,” she growled, her voice echoing in the room, fired up with rage.

“Mom,” Tyler called out, but his words were trailed off.

“Tyler, this day, it is clear that you have chosen your path. You have chosen money over your mother. This day, you have broken our paths and chosen a different path you want to tread upon. But always remember that when ‘you act in haste, you repent at leisure’!” she spat.
