Tyler stood frozen in the doorway, his gaze locked onto the image displayed on his phone screen. The photograph depicted his mother, captured in an unguarded moment within the confines of their home. The intrusion of privacy was palpable, with the image taken surreptitiously, without her awareness. Yet, it wasn’t just the picture that held Tyler’s attention; it was the accompanying text below it that seized his focus, intensifying his unease.

The words, “You know what to do!” seemed innocuous at first glance, but as Tyler absorbed their implications, a wave of demoralization washed over him. The weight of the message bore down on him, a clear indication that he was being coerced into some sort of action. His heart pounded, and a growing sense of dread knotted his stomach.
