“All right, enough playing around. Let’s end this battle already.”
Takara said in a loud, clear, and confident tone.
The beast she’s facing is the Nemean Lion, the tenth Mini-boss in the Novice stage.
What it lacks in magical prowess, it makes up for in its extremely sturdy fur, immense strength, and fast speed.
It let out a loud and deafening roar.
It bared its fangs at Takara, then ran at a very fast speed before pouncing with its mouth open, with the intent to kill.
Takara immediately chanted a poison spell, aimed for the lion’s open mouth, then she activated the accuracy boost and speed boost she bought from the system with her unlimited gems.
Then she activated the special poison shadow clone skill she also bought from the system.
She managed to switch places with one of the special poison shadow clones before the Nemean lion bit nothing but poisonous air in the space where she used to stand.
After the lion bit one of the shadow clones, it dissipated into thin air, leaving behind poisonous smoke that made the lion retch and struggle to stay up on its four legs, before the poison eventually overpowered the Nemean Lion, and made it lie down on the ground.
The lion let out a pained and enraged roar, but it will be the last roar that came out of its mouth, as its body started twitching and shaking uncontrollably while foaming at the mouth.
“You roar too much for a lion who’s about to die. Time to put you out of your misery.”
Takara said while approaching the lion, her hands crackling with magical power.
She then faced the lion, which is in its death throes, and started to chant.
“Oh, Apollo, god of the sun, enchant my power so as to end this lion’s suffering.”
After she finished the incantation, her hands unleashed a red-hot fire that crackled and burned the lion to ashes.
Then her spell book, which floated in the air on its own accord, and was glowing bright red, closed itself and fell back down to the ground in front of Takara with a thud.
A golden fur cloak glimmered on the ground before her.
She picked it up and stashed it in her inventory.
She looked at the cloak’s description on the system.
“Nemean Lion Fur Cloak
“Durability: 45
Strength: 85
Speed: 86
Defense: 96”
She stashed the fur cloak into her inventory.
She might as well sell it later since it is more suitable for Assassin, Warrior, and Tank class players.
Then she checked the notifications that popped out in her system.
“You successfully finished the main quest. Clear all the sub-quests on this floor first before proceeding to the next.”
A scroll popped up right in front of her.
“You leveled up - Level 11
You leveled up - Level 12
You leveled up – Level 13
You leveled up – Level 14
You leveled up – level 15 “
“Your mastery of the active system skill shadow clone has gone up to fifteen percent. Poison variant clones unlocked. Poison variant level- level 15.”
“Your mastery of the passive system skill accuracy boost has risen by 15 percent. “
“Your mastery of the passive system skill speed boost has risen by 15 percent.”
“Your superior performance in the mini-boss battle landed you in the tenth rank in the top fifteen ranking for Novices.”
Then she clicked on the close button of the scroll and sat down on the grassy hillside to do some self-reflection.
She couldn’t believe it is that easy to defeat the Nemean Lion.
She spent a whole day practicing and getting used to doing the chants in the new spell book that Noctis bought for her.
She couldn’t at first believe the difference between the old spell book she now discarded, and the new spell book she currently carries around.
The old spell book was cumbersome to carry around and took a while for the spells to take effect.
The only spells available are spells for novices.
While the new one Noctis bought for her is lightweight, has super-advanced spells, floats in the air when she’s in battle, and automatically makes spells take effect right after the battle.
The spells are compilations of ancient incantations said to be written by one of the prominent Game Administrators.
She finished her preparation before battling the Nemean Lion by permanently buying the three skills from the system store, then trained until the system skills mastery reached fourteen percent.
She is surprised that just by using the new spell-book, and trying out the high-quality potions, etc. that Zero bought for her, her status points jumped up by quite a lot.
Her custom-made garments also helped raise her status points.
"Player Name: Takara Erich
Age: 18
Race: Human
Mana: 94.56
Strength: 89. 49
Agility: 79.99
Health:99.99
Knowledge:100 %
Class: Mage
Rank: Novice (Nobility)
Money: Error. Infinity"
He even insisted that she change into the custom-made garments he commissioned from an elite clothmaker at the VIP section.
She remembered that Zero paid the elite clothmaker extra money earlier so he could go inside the dressing room with her, watch her undress even her undergarments, and see her naked body inside before she put on the body-hugging garments, he paid a lot for her.
She felt shy at first, then she picked up the confidence, and undressed right in front of Zero, with her pussy dripping wet at the fact that Zero is watching her undress even her undergarment, and dress up in the clothes he bought for her.
Then she looked at herself in the mirror after she finished dressing up.
She’s dressed in a body-hugging crop top, above-the-leg shorts, and traveling sandals that showed off most of her sexy yet chubby and fair-skinned body, with her shorts exposing her thick thighs.
“I don’t think I’m confident enough to wear this” she started to complain before Zero’s remarks cut her off mid-sentence.
“Whether you like it or not, get used to it. The items used to create these clothes aren’t easy to
find. This attire helps you replenish your MP from nature.”
“Wait what? I didn’t know it’s possible to replenish MP without an MP potion.”
Zero just looked at her, his eyes hinting at a warm smile.
Takara then snapped back to reality after recalling the events that just happened.
So, this is how elites with the Nobility Badge fight.
They prepare first before they engage in battle, and play around first with their opponent before going all out.
Then she stood up, brushed her shorts, and went off to finish the sub-quests on the 10th floor of the Novice Stage.
Morrigan watched from a safe distance, with a crow perched on her fair-skinned shoulder, as her soldiers bravely defended their castle from a sudden raid by the Elven-Dwarves alliance. “Well, well. A sudden raid at a time I’m supposed to be resting. What a pleasant surprise.” The attractive goddess looks like an eighteen-year-old girl with fair skin and a flawless face wearing an elegant black body-hugging dress that showed off her sexy body said sarcastically with a smirk plastered upon her lips. “Let’s ramp things up a bit. Brave of those elves and dwarves to come without knocking. Stay here and defend this place. This shouldn’t fall to the invaders.” She said to her new male and handsome assistant, who wore a black robe with a hood that normally covered his handsome yet punk and gothic face, along with his punk hairstyle. The crow perched on her shoulder flew outside the window. Its size grew to that of a dragon, and Morrigan jumped right on its back. The crow hovered right
Noctis easily cleared nine floors without much difficulty. He noticed a few different Game Guardians at the opening of every stage. He dared not do anything foolish in front of them, knowing full well that they can permanently eliminate a player from the game, or else tamper with the floors and make it harder for the players they disliked to clear stages. He’s now on the 10th floor of the Novice Stage and currently fighting with the mini-boss of the 10th stage, a human-sized troll wearing prehistoric clothes, and carrying a spiked mace.He scanned the surroundings. He’s in a forest, with tall trees around him. “Dragon Dance 14th Form”He chanted, as he nimbly avoided yet another tree that the troll uprooted through magic, and sent flying like a spear towards his direction.Tsk, this won’t do. This troll isn’t the dumb type that he always encountered while playing RPGs. So, this is the smart troll his brother and father discussed.Noctis thought as he avoided a huge rock that came fl
Rebecca Hudgens, the elite vampire player, is on the 12th floor of the Intermediate Stage. She’s chasing an elite orc spy of the Necromancer Guild that she caught exchanging information with an elf she just killed on the spot.Good thing there are a few elite vampires around in that place to take care of the training, security, and welfare of the vampire initiates, or else those elite players who belonged to the enemy would have wrecked the place, and laid waste to their plans without a second thought. She thought to herself. Those damn beasts these fucking orcs ride on are extremely fast. Good thing I got superspeed as an ability, and I can turn into a large bat. I need to close the distance fast, or this orc will escape. She thought as she turned into a bat and increased her speed to catch up with that of the fleeing orc.A few hours of a wild chase up and down the floors of the Intermediate Stage happened before she finally cornered the elite orc, who stopped to rest in an inn on t
Rebecca Hudgens, the elite vampire player, reflected on her actions earlier as she made her way back to the territory of the vampires. She did what she had to do to remove the threat to the vampire initiates. She couldn’t stand the likes of Inuk the Clever, who only thought of saving their own skin, although she uses just the same methods as the half-human orc she left to die.She didn’t want a repeat of what happened in the past. The memory was like a bitter stain that she found hard to erase, no matter how hard she tried, or what she did to forget. She still remembered that day, as if it just happened yesterday. She was still a newbie vampire who just passed the vampiric initiation. The ancient war between the werewolves and the vampires still raged on that day, and everyone was on high alert. She didn’t know back then that the vampire-werewolf war was instigated by the goddess of death, Morrigan, to prevent the vampires and the werewolves from rallying to the side of the dragon god
Galadriel is at the Creator Stage, sitting outside Hashioki’s living quarters, and staring out the window. The cute, sexy, and attractive elven ranger who looks younger than her actual age, wearing the typical attire of an elven archer, seemed to be waiting for someone to arrive.“Hashioki, where are you? I got wind of a nasty rumor regarding the archdemon Beleth.”The cute and sexy elven ranger typed in the system’s in-game chat to Hashioki.“Galadriel. Let me guess. Are you right outside my room? Wait for me. I’m on my way from a very important meeting.”Hashioki typed back.“All right, I’ll wait for you. Take care out there.”Galadriel typed in a reply.Galadriel waited for a few minutes, and sure enough, Hashioki arrived.“Sorry I made you wait, Galadriel. Come in.”Hashioki unlocked the door to his living quarters, then he let Galadriel come inside.“Your living quarters are still as simple, clean, bare, and modern as ever, Hashioki.”Galadriel remarked, unsurprised.“You know I’
The demon Beleth is outside the castle grounds, in the battle arena, fighting with Alastair. Many lower demons flocked to see two high-ranked demons fight each other from the safety of the seats that surrounded the Demon Arena, protected by a powerful magic barrier that shields the spectators from powerful blows and magic done to each other by combatants in the Demon's Arena. A majority of the seats are filled with spectators, The Battle Arena is where demons and their allies fought seriously to hone their skills. "Total Darkness Activate"Beleth chanted. The Battle Arena grounds went dark. Beleth sped towards the location of Alastair while atop his pale horse, with a spear in his hand. Alastair at first fumbled in the darkness before he chanted a spell that allowed him to see in the dark. Alastair teleported at the back of Beleth. He lifted Beleth's pale horse effortlessly off the ground and flung Beleth's pale horse right above Beleth, who managed to teleport safely to the
While Beleth ate and drank in the wide, expansive garden grounds, he thought that he was alone. He is proved wrong when he sensed something invisible prying around. He sensed a gumiho named Gyeo-wool lurking around. "Gyeo-wool, I know you're there. Show yourself." A young-looking lady, who wore an attire that looked like it came from the early Joseon era, came into sight. A cold and chilly atmosphere filled the entire garden, and snow started to fall gently. "Lucky for me that these plants are magically enhanced and cold-proofed, or else they would have melted when you are around, my dear." Beleth said softly, gently caressing the gumiho's cute face, while caressing her bright red hair. "What do you care about more, your plants, or me? This is the only time I've managed to sneak my way into your castle again. You know Lilith's temper." Gyeo-wool whined. "You, of course, my dear. These plants are easy to replace." Beleth soothed Gyeo-wool. "Since when were you here, Gyeo-wo
Noctis and Takara are inside the auction house. "You got stuff to auction, my dear?" Noctis asked Takara. They held hands while walking together to the auction counter. "Yes, my dear Zero. I obtained the Nemean Lion's Fur Coat after defeating it. I don't find it suitable, so I might as well sell it at the auction." "Wait. Did you just say Nemean Lion's Fur Coat? Let's have it enhanced first at the Blacksmith's Shop, have the blacksmith place Legendary and God-class features on this cloak, and change this cloak from rare item to God-class." Noctis stopped Takara from approaching the counter, and started dragging her outside. " Why the need to go to such lengths? It's just a damn item that any normal player will kill to obtain. What do I gain here?? What are you plotting? I guess you're also aware that upgrading an item from rare to normal in a Blacksmith's shop is rarely successful. I'd say it has a 60% chance of failing." Takara asked with her eyebrows raised and her lips for
