CHAPTER 28

Tydeus stealthily came down from his horse and began tiptoeing towards the front. The King and the general wondered what he saw and they didn't.

He kept on stepping gently and covertly on the muddy ground as he fixed his eyes to the front which had been made obscure by fog and darkness.

An astounding silence took over the environment. Even the racing heartbeats of the King and his General could be heard as they held onto their weapons tightly in case Tydeus in front noticed any threat.

Tydeus gently bent his head as he advanced furtively into the fog, trying to get hold of the tiny sound in the great silence.

Suddenly, no one knew what Tydeus saw, He immediately pulled out his big sword from the sheath on his back.

*Wushyynnnne!*

The screeching sound of Tydeus's sword from his sheath interrupted the silence.

As Tydeus's men saw that he had just pulled out his sword, they also brought out their weapons. It seems the Cytorex would love to play some mind games before the real fight.
