CHAPTER 7

“Oh boy!” Rakeh whispered as he held Apphathorus behind him.

“Giant gate in the front, pirates behind. Good job, Rakeh!” Tydeus said sarcastically to Rakeh.

“Oh brother, I don't plan on hitting anyone tonight”. Rakeh responded to Tydeus as they kept on measuring their distance from Galdashkeh at the front towards the gate and Gryza and the other pirates behind.

“Hitting someone? I feel like killing someone already”. Tydeus responded as he began massaging his knuckles, getting ready to fight.

Gryza, with a weird smile on his face, said, “You've got pirates behind you and this giant gate in your front,”

“There's no way you're getting out of here alive. I have locked the gate and the keys…”

“I have tossed it into the river.”

“Good job, Gryza!” Galdashkeh responded out of nowhere.

“Then we will do something about the gate”. Rakeh responded to Gryza as he kept close eye contact with the rest of the pirates surrounding them.

Gryza and Galdashkeh burst into laughter after hearing what Rakeh said.

“Really? And what exactly are you going to do? Are you gonna break it? Ha!”

“This giant gate is not an ordinary one. It is made of the strongest bronze metal in the whole of Egypt. It can never be broken”

“You have a clear chance now to surrender, we could spare your life. Just go down on your knees and turn your backs,” Gryza said to Rakeh and Tydeus.

“Really? How about you spare me the chit chat”. Tydeus replied out of nowhere.

“Get them!!!” Galdashkeh ordered his pirates against Tydeus and his friend.

“Stay here. Don't move, I repeat, do not move; I get paid either way, remember.” Tydeus said to Apphathorus as he gently moved him to a corner”.

“Who dies first?” Rakeh said with a weird smile on his face as he pulled out an axe, his special weapon.

The pirates stormed against Rakeh and Tydeus as they started a tremendous battle.

Rakeh would spin his axe and take down two pirates at the same time. Tydeus, with his bare hands, rushed to the pirates, carrying them with his big muscles and smashing them to the ground forcefully.

Galdashkeh stood at another corner watching as his men cried out for help.

Below the floor, the other prisoners in the Fortress continued fighting the pirates with everything they laid their hands on both old and young. This is the only chance they have to get out of this hell in the middle of nowhere.

Gryza, seeing the way Rakeh kept on whacking his axe taking down multiple pirates with one strike and Tydeus lifting and smashing the bones of the pirates on the ground, ran to call for reinforcement.

It seems the rumours about this guy killing Apophis, the great beast of the dark world, are true. The way he keeps on lifting the pirates and smashing them to the ground is not manly, it looks demonic.

Apphathorus, frozen in fear, covered his face from the brutality Tydeus and Rakeh did to the pirates.

After a few minutes of a bloody battle, Rakeh pulled out his axe from one of the pirates' chests.

“Is that all you have?” Tydeus shouted at Galdashkeh who only stood in a corner with 2 of his stronger bodyguards protecting him.

Tydeus began walking towards Galdashkeh even with his 2 bodyguards. A man who just broke the bones of about 20 pirates won't be shaken to take out 2 bodyguards.

As he was about to hit one of the bodyguards, Gryza showed up with the reinforcements he went to get.

“You had to ask,” Rakeh replied to Tydeus's previous question.

Galdashkeh, who was already peeing on his body, took another breath of relief as he saw Gryza with many other pirates.

Tydeus and Rakeh were now surrounded by over a hundred pirates, each of them with well-sharpened swords.

“I'm going to give you one more chance to surrender, go on your knees now!” Gryza commanded Tydeus and Rakeh as he pulled out his sword too.

“What are you waiting for? Kill them all!” Galdashkeh commanded his pirates again against Tydeus and his friend.

Rakeh immediately jumped with his axe and slashed the heads of about five pirates at the same time. Tydeus ran and began flinging the pirates like they were ordinary pieces of wood.

Apphathorus stood at one corner as he dodged the bodies of the pirates Tydeus was flinging violently.

Galdashkeh, with fear written all over his face, could not withstand the way Tydeus kept throwing away his men violently. Tydeus would raise them and bring them down to his knees forcefully, crushing their backbones.

Rakeh continued throwing different kinds of kicks, separating the pirate's bones from their joints.

“They're too many of them; we don't have much time”, Rakeh said to Tydeus as he kept fighting the pirates.

“Then we better find a way to get out of here”, Tydeus responded as he threw a heavy blow taking out two pirates at the same time.

Rakeh, looking for any available way they could get out of the Fortress, looked at the giant metal gate and looked at his muscles, comparing them to Tydeus's muscles.

“Bro, can you do something about the gates?” Rakeh asked Tydeus quickly.

“Yeah, if you agree to hold the pirate back”, Tydeus responded as he carried one of the pirates and threw him to the others, bringing all of them down to the ground.

“Of course!”Rakeh replied to Tydeus as he went forward to keep fighting.

Tydeus ran towards the gate and looked up, measuring the heights with his eyes.
