Darien
I close my eyes and throw my head back. My eyes closed in ecstasy the minute I spurt into the mouth of the girl kneeling in front of me.
My hand tightened a little more the dark strands of his hair.
The movement of her mouth swallowing everything around my member draws a soft moan from my throat.
I lightly stroke her head in appreciation before releasing her.
The brunette gets up from the floor, facing me with a mischievous little smile as she runs the back of her right hand over her mouth, wiping away what wasn't even there.
She runs her hands through my hair and sits on my lap so I can feel that she is not wearing panties under her dress.
However, before I can do anything about it, the door to my office opens. I look toward the entrance, ready to shout at whoever it is.
I stop myself when my eyes meet a woman with long blonde hair, amused brown eyes, and doll-like features.
Her hands are on her waist, and she arches an eyebrow as she stares at me.
Rolling my eyes, I sigh and pat the woman's leg on top of me as a sign for her to get up and go.
Without even arguing, she obeys. These women know what to do.
We are werewolves, and we don't allow her to stay in the pack out of the simple goodness of our hearts.
It is debatable whether we even have a heart.
Some bitches fuck the werewolves, and in return, they gain our protection.
It was a simple deal, and many had no hope of getting something more.
Sure, some were always looking for a Luna title or even a simple Moonflower, but I liked staying well away from them. They were sticky and complicated.
Lia sighs and closes the door behind the brunette, who walks past her with a disgruntled expression, leaving us alone in the small office.
Nothing could be heard outside, although the party was going on. I liked the silence.
"To what do I owe this wonderful visit, Lia?" I question, putting my cock back in my pants.
His expression doesn't move, as he has seen each of our penises at least twice.
That was the thing after half a dozen years in this gang. Moonflower or not, you always end up seeing one dick or another.
Lia was in the gang years before I became the Alpha, when my father, Shadow, ran things around here.
Her husband, Rocket, was one of the oldest werewolves in the pack, even older than me.
She is the only Luna (aka Moon Flower) living in the Complex. And the one person in the entire Nightfall Flames wolf packs that I would let into my office without knocking on the door, without leaving with at least one bruise.
"I wonder why you are always with a girl when I come here?" she asks, rolling her eyes and sitting in the chair across from my desk.
She crosses her legs, making her skirt ride up a bit, but the bitch doesn't seem to mind, and I don't even look at her twice.
None of us would dare try anything with Lia, especially me.
First for Rocket. We are werewolves in the pack, we are a family, and we have our own rules.
Second, because she would rip my balls off, and third because it would be like trying to fuck my sister.
And fourth but not least, she had a mark. Just the smell that emanated from her was enough to keep anyone away. Moonflowers were untouchable.
"Maybe because you never knock on the door?" I reply, frowning. "What do you want, anyway?"
"Cobra is back from his mission, and he asked me to meet him in the basement. He and Kron are waiting for you." He reports.
I realize immediately that something is wrong. My beta would have come to me if his mission had gone well only to report what he had learned.
I drop Lia off at the office and leave, greeted by sex, drinks, and laughing werewolves at the compound's headquarters.
He was not like the other werewolves. He knew how to be tough and belonged to the pack as much as anyone else...
But he was and always had been calmer. More docile and gentle, even. He had always been that way.
I walk past the little party, and everyone makes room when they see their Alpha.
I go straight to the basement, which is a place where only people with permission can enter.
This included a few werewolves and any exceptions I decided to make.
I quickly descend the stairs and open the door that leads to an underground corridor.
I passed several empty rooms, which were only used when we had prisoners who needed to open their beaks, and entered the last door on the right, where I knew my beta would be waiting.
It was the room we used for much more private conversations when we were not in my office.
Both werewolves turn to me as I approach, tilting my chin in respect.
Kron's shirt was soaked with blood, which stained his hands and cheeks, which didn't surprise me.
It was not exactly a rare sight around here.
What did surprise me was, in fact, what was on the metal table in the center of the room.
A girl was lying there, her eyes closed as her chest rose, and she fell silently into a deep sleep.
Strands of her caramel hair were scattered across the table, and her pale skin bore several scars.
Some were so fresh that they bled, but most seemed to have already healed.
The only thing she was wearing was a long dress that had probably once been white but was now grimy with a mixture of mud and some blood-red stains.
Although she was all dirty, when I approached her, I smelled something sweet, like a flower, that I had no idea what it was.
"We met up with the girl in the middle of the forest, alpha," Cobra explains, leaning against one of the walls. "She saw us kill our prisoner. She tried to run but fell, and we caught up with her, and she blacked out after that."
I walked over and looked at the girl. She was very skinny, and when I touched her abdomen, I felt her ribs. Clear signs that she was not eating adequately.
His scars appeared to have been caused by something that had not only sliced but torn his skin and been improperly healed.
The dirt on her dress indicated that she had been in the forest for a while, and when I examined her foot, I found the skin to be raw.
She had been running, probably for hours. This also explained the recent cuts that appeared to be shallower, perhaps made by branches or the like.
The girl was running from something.
From the looks of someone who has not eaten a full meal recently, she must have been stuck somewhere for years.
I turn my gaze back to Cobra and Kron.
"And what did our little friend say?" I ask, raising a corner of my lips and watching the beta's jaw snap.
Kron had a definite animation in his eyes.
A sign that he was expecting a kill. Good.
"We have a traitor, Alpha." Cobra mutters, and I close my eyes in a deep breath.
I expected something like this, of course. We are talking about my wolf pack, and I'm a man made only of instincts.
And to help out, we recently fought with the Demons of Night, a pack that tried to pull a fast one on us with an Amandite** ideal.
We attacked them a few days ago, but they were waiting. We managed to eliminate them quite quickly but lost some of our own.
A traitor. The one thing that completely threw me off.
In a place where loyalty is worth more than life, there was still a loophole to have a traitor, a rat among us.
It was expected, but so annoying. If I can't trust my pack, what am I left with?
"Did he tell you who he is?" I ask, opening my eyes again when I'm sure I'm not going to kill anyone at the moment, and Kron denies it with his head, a lock of his white hair falling into his eye.
"He said you didn't know... So I ripped your throat out."
Though there was no change in his expression, his eyes seemed to rejoice with emotion as he remembered the scene. It was the look of a monster.
But we are all monsters here.
"Well, I don't want the information to spread around. I'll have to trust Hacker because I want every cell phone in this gang bugged and calls traced. You can only tell that to the Deadly Trio." I speak, and Kron nods.
"Ace needs to know," I declared.
Ace was a kind of secretary for the wolf pack, and most of the time, He kept a record of everything that happened and what the other werewolves did.
He was also probably the most trusted person here, "Sniper will be good for observing unusual activity, but no one but them."
The two agreed. That meant the only people who would know outside of that room only were Hacker and Sniper, the rest of the Mortal Trio, and Ace.
I doubted that people like Rocket or Lia were rats, but I couldn't be too careful, and I wanted to tell only those who needed to know.
The point was... None of us had any fucking idea who the traitor was.
The number of people we could trust was almost nil. And that turned my blood into flames.
"Until I declare otherwise, these are the only people who know anything, understood?" I speak, and the two nod without arguing.
I turned my gaze to the girl lying on the table, her eyes closed slightly, her delicate features relaxed in their sleep.
I frown minimally, her sweet smell invading my nostrils without permission.
"What are you going to do with the girl, Darien?" I don't look at Cobra when he asks, totally focused on the girl.
"We can't let her go has seen too much already. Let's wait until she wakes up and see if she cooperates. She seems to be running from something or someone, and I want to know what happened," I reply. "Take her to one of the rooms and have Cowboy tend to her injuries. Also, ask Lia to bring something for the girl to wear."
I look at my beta. "But don't forget to lock the door. Let's be civil, but she can't leave yet, understand?"
Cobra nods and approaches the girl. I watch as he holds her in his arms and leaves the room to do as I have asked.
I turned to Kron, who was waiting for his orders while playing with one of his knives.
"Tell what we discovered to Ace, Cobra, Rage, and the rest of you. Bring them here to make sure no one else hears. I want them all on alert." I order, and he nods before obeying, leaving me there alone.
I look down at the table and sigh: A girl and a traitor. And I used to think being Alpha was like a walk in the park.
**Amandite: precious magical ore existing in this world. This one can be used to build bigger weapons and absorb energy. It is valuable because of its rarity and great usefulness.
AmayaI run through the empty halls, counting the seconds in my head as my feet meet the frozen floor. The alarm was ringed throughout the orphanage, and the cries of the orphans, guards, and nuns could be heard outside. The chaos caused by the knife fight would be over in two minutes.Three if I was lucky. I needed to get to Cece.I walked past a few open doors of unoccupied rooms, stopping only when I reached the front of my best friend's dorm. The door was ajar, which was not a good sign, considering that we planned to leave the door locked. A pool of blood was growing around her, staining her long curly hair. The scarlet red mixed with the naturally fiery red of the red hair also stained half of her face. Her eyes were closed, and her freckled skin was paler than usual, which was frightening in and of itself, considering how white the girl was naturally.Who had done this to her? Darien"Diagnosis?" I inquire as soon as I enter my office and find Cowboy waiting for me, as I asked.Cowboy was one of the few wolves left from my father's time in the pack, as most of them followed the Old Man into hell.He was the pack doctor since he went to medical school before his life went down the drain, and he became a Nightfall. Not that I knew much about it. The situation of the older werewolves, like Cowboy or Rocket, was known only to the Alpha of the time, my father, who brought them in the first place. All I know is that his entire family was wiped out and that Cowboy became a low-level mercenary before Rocket brought him into the group a few years before my father's death."Wherever she came from, it's a poor place. Her body shows signs of malnutrition, and she's got some broken bones that haven't healed properly. Her body is covered in scars, from knife cuts to whip marks." The wolf explains. I arch my eyebrows."Whip marks?" I'm not exactly a novice when it comes t
AmayaDo you know the saying: the apple never falls far from the tree? I have heard it a few times in books and the few movies I watched as a child.I have always believed it faithfully because it makes sense. The people who raise you are the ones who prepare you for the world and who make you the person you are.For many, these people are their parents. The children grow up to follow their parents' careers and become firefighters or cops, just like their fathers.I was never prepared for the world. I was groomed for obedience or death. I was not taught to count change or to order food alone in a restaurant.I was taught to keep my head down, not to wear provocative clothes, and to obey. That is all I ever knew.I grew up with the only idea that I would die when I reached my eighteenth birthday, as happens to all orphans.Going against the beliefs imposed on a child from the moment he can remember is one of the most complicated things to do. Never let anyone convince you otherwise.Th
Nine years earlier, a lost place in Missouri, the United States..."Please, no," I whimpered once again. My pleas are useless and pathetic, I know. It won't work, I know.It never worked before, and I doubt it will start now, but fear prevents me from being silent.Thick tears trail down my face until they reach the hard metal against which my chest is pressed.Lying here, I feel the moisture beginning to soak through my blouse, an eloquent mixture of tears and saliva. With my back to my torturer, I am just waiting for the pain I know will come."Do you know the reason for this, Amaya?" A sob escapes from my lips when I hear Sister Ruth's voice, but I nod.I can no longer feel the side of my face from being pressed hard against the cold, stiff metal of the table.I see my reflection in the small puddle of water, mocking me by showing my weakness."I know," I reply, and I immediately regret stammering. It isn't good, and the sisters don't like it.My ten-year-old body is trembling with
