Chapter 08

Davinc's - [P.O.V]

I looked at Mrs. Montero.

"You ofcourse... Do not have any contributions to this family, you are a worthless leech." Mrs. Montero said before Vida turned to look at me.

"You should not be even here." Vida's brother's cousin said as I took two steps back.

"My aunt Catherine, she needs me, please excuse me." I said to the entire family as I turned leaving while Bernard smirks.

He walked towards me, holding my hand.

"If you know what is good for you... You won't return back to this house!" He says to me.

"Last I checked - Vida is my legal wife." I said to him seeing the rage in his eyes.

Then I held his hand, removing it from mine as I walked out of the mansion.

I looked around.

I had no car to drive.

I had nothing to take me to Catherine faster.

I closed my eyes... Listening to the environment so I could use my aura to connect to her.

"Davinc!" I heard her call to me.

"I'm coming Kate, please be strong for me." I said as I began running through the streets.

But soon I hit an invincible wall.

I stopped wondering what was wrong.

Catherine was trying to stop me from coming.

She was using her powers.

"Davinc, listen to me." She said while I felt the pain that she was going through.

"You can't die Catherine, I am coming." I replied as tears dropped from my eyes.

A dude parked his power bike by the other side of the road and this seemed to be the opportunity I needed right now.

I covered my hood and immediately went to his power bike.

"Hey!" He said in confusion.

I then gently pushed him off before starting the power bike and then sped off.

I soon reached where Catherine was.

I noticed the tinted black tinted Mercedes Benz outside but that didn't bother me.

I could hear Catherine's heart beating.

I could hear it lose itself slowly.

I rushed through the stairs till I entered the room where I saw Catherine.

There was a machine taking away her Aura.

I noticed how dark the room was.

The men pulled out their guns at me including doctor Edward, firing it at me.

In this slow motion aunt Catherine used her powers to create a shield that hindered them.

I soon reached closer towards her.

I held her face, cupping it as I looked at her.

"Davinc." She said weakly as I began removing all the tubes and robes over her.

"Aunty!" I said to her as my eyes bled tears.

"Davinc!" She called again.

"What is it... speak!" I said to her.

"This is a trap... I tried to stop you from coming." She said weakly as tears filled her eyes.

"My friend Edward works for the Mafia clan... He betrayed us." She said as I hugged her into myself as my tears fell over her neck.

"I'm so sorry aunty, I could not get the money nor should I have left you here." I said to her.

"You're my family." I said to her.

"I belong with you." I said to her hearing the breaths of people standing in the dark and the endless gunshots over Catherine's shield.

"Come." She said bringing me into herself.

"Since you were young, I have never seen a child as strong as you Davinc, you beat all odds, left your father's house just so you will be strong." She said crying as she stared at me.

"You Left everything you had, just so that you can forgive yourself, but let me tell you something." She said bringing me even closer.

"You need to really forgive yourself Davinc, you need to awaken, because if you don't... Then you will never really have the happiness you want." She said, looking at me.

"Awaken your aura Davinc, because my time has come and I can't be your aunt forever my son." She said as I began crying even more, staring at her as she coughed weakly.

"You're the Mafia lord, own up to it!" She shouts with her energy staring at me.

"Take this card... The number on it belongs to your junior sister, you should call her someday." She said putting it in my pockets.

"Master and I trained you for years to be stronger than this! So if you want to continue suffering and betray your master's wishes... Don't forget that I am your aunty and this is my dying wish." She said to me as she carried her hand to her chest in return.

"Do not ever underestimate your powers." She said as she began to dance her fingers around the air over her chest while drawing the seal of our clan causing her powers to react.

She was dragging all her aura into her hand before she sent it into me and I felt the energy burning through my very veins.

"Awaken, my boy!" She said.

"You're Davinc!"

"The Mafia lord!"

"The Bonavista!" She said weakly before she died while holding my cheeks in her palms.

I used my fingers shutting her eyes closed feeling the pain that stroke into my heart.

My heart crumbled.

I had never felt more hurt than this.

I slowly turned in rage and anger.

It was burning out of me like billions of erupting nuclear bombs as I carried Catherine overly stabbed and injected body over myself.

I saw them as they kept shooting at the shield she had made to protect me.

The shield was already wearing away too... Now that my aunty, Catherine is dead.

They finally killed the only aunty I had.

The woman that I loved as my own mother.

"You will never survive this!" Edward said.

That bastard!

"She trusted you." I said in tears.

"I thought you were her friend." I said to him.

"All this, just because you want her aura." I said to him as tears dropped off my burning eyes.

"You all killed her." I said to them.

The rage burning through me was like a hot brimstone swimming through my veins.

"You have something that belongs to our Mafia clan Davinc, give it back!" One of the Mafia men said, looking at me.

"What is this thing you want?" I asked.

"The aura of the Mafia lord... Our elders want it back, Davinc." They said to me.

"So they want me dead, just because I have an Aura that they need? Even after you all killed my aunty." I said before I smirked in pain.

"Fine, I will give it to you." I said to them as I took a look at my aunty Catherine.

"Since you want it..." I said letting out a tear.

"Take it!" I screamed at them.

Releasing all the energy and rage while awakening the aura inside of me.

It felt and burnt like an unstoppable fire!

The shield got broken as they fired their bullets at me.

I dodged each and every bullet.

Turning upside over the building and doing my best not to get killed by these dangerous men who wanted to take my life.

One the assassins rushed towards me with his sword, almost cutting my neck.

I tried Aunty Catherine into the air as I bent dodging that attack.

I looked to see her falling back.

But that bastard had the guts to send his sword through her dead body's chest.

Was I indeed this weak?

I got back on my feet as I grabbed him by the neck, feeling his throat bones before breaking it into pieces and he fell dead.

I looked to see aunty Catherine's chest pierced with a sword as I faced the rest of the men.

"He is using the Mafia lord's Aura." One said.

"Kill him!" Their commander orders and they fire their bullets at me.

I stretched my hand at them releasing a lash of my powers and it froze their bullets.

Then I controlled the bullets.

Turning the bullets to face them back.

They were shocked by my powers.

Then I used the same force to fire it back at them, controlling the irons as I drove the bullets through their skulls... One by one.

And I didn't stop there either.

I controlled their weapons, making them shoot at themselves.

"Buy us some time." I looked to see Doctor Edward fleeing immediately together with the mafia team leader as well.

"How is it possible that he can master the Mafia lord's Aura without knowledge?" The Mafia team leader says as he leaves with Doctor Edward immediately.

The remaining men kept fighting and dying as I used my powers to levitate them into the air using their own swords and guns to take their lives in return, but when it got too much... I used the remaining energy inside of me.

"Boom!" An explosion of my powers sliced through their bodies and they all fell dead.

The roof of the building scattered away, revealing the early morning moon.

I felt weak looking at the light stars.

"Ahh." I cried due to the pains in my veins.

Blood gushed out from my mouth as I fell to the ground slowly to rest.

Then I crawled to my aunty, Catherine.

I removed the sword that was in her chest.

I cried to see her die this way because of me.

I couldn't believe she was now lifeless.

I held her into my arms.

"Ahh!" I cried holding her to myself.

"Aunty!" I cried some more.

"Hah!... I'm alone in this world." I cried bitterly while holding her to myself.

It felt like my mother had died for the second time, a part of my conscience had suddenly died... These people finally unlocked my beast.

"I'm coming for you all mafian Elders!"

"I'm coming for you Doctor Edward!"

"I am going to bring you all done... If not today, then someday I would." I screamed holding aunty Catherine into myself before taking her back to my clan place.

I looked to see how they destroyed such a beautiful place all because of my aura.

Maybe if I never came here, I wouldn't have put these people's lives at risk.

It was my fault that my junior brother died.

I couldn't shoot.

And now it is my fault that my entire clan, my master and the only aunty I looked at like a mother is dead, can I really forgive myself?

I grabbed a shovel digging through the ground and soon she was well buried.

I looked around to see other graves.

People who died to defend me.

Destinies wastes to keep mine for this clan.

I knelt down before all their graves.

"I promise you all today that I will avenge you all, I won't be weak, I will be strong no matter what I will go through." I said in tears.

"I will do what I have to do, till death do us part." I said before bowing in return.

A heavy wind began blowing through the pain as I stood up on my feet.

"We shall be with you." I heard the wind say to me as it began to rain storms over me.

I removed the card Catherine gave Me earlier and I called my junior sister Ella.

"Who is this?" She asked.

Her voice sounded all grown up.

"It is me, Davinc... I am ready to come back home." I said to her in return.

"I'd find you with the map... Keep the call active." She said before I kept the phone in my pocket while walking through the rainy street.

I kept walking thinking about my life.

The cold was getting into me.

And the rain had soon stopped.

Soon, soldiers paraded the entire area.

I looked to the sky to see over one hundred Helicopters heading towards my direction.

I stopped as a convoy of black tinted bullet proof highlanders parked by my side.

A military man opens the door and my junior sister walks out in a black suit towards me.

Whilst two soldiers rushed holding me against a building wall like a criminal.

Then they pulled out their guns at me.

This ballistic life was about to end.
